So...Uh, hi. Thought I'd come here since the previous forum you guys had (the fancy newer one that expired) died. I was considering signing up for it. So I've signed up here. Cause I heard there was AC battles here and there. And I've got a version of ACFF. Guess I'm making this my "Hi I'm new here" post.

Welcome, i suppose just look around the area and find some schematics that are in the forums...they're probably a little out-dated compared to what people had posted on the other site, but they're good benchmarks

Very well. I'll see about xlink. Would I be correct in assuming that multiplayer between the 3 versions I've heard of works? (I've got the only release version I've seen over here, the Extreme Battles.)

Edit: I've got Xlink installed and an account on it. Now I just need help getting it to recognise my PSP. Then a time would have to be scheduled for the battle.

I just got formula front a few months back and I love it. Seems like I missed the boat on all these tournaments. I will keep checking back here and hoping anyone is still playing this game.

To all who see this. New and Old,

The time I've spent with this group and their forums were the best AC experience I ever had.

When anything about AC pops up(and even sometimes randomly) I think of all the things that made it special here.

And I must apologize since I feel that the final tourney that I sugested and hosted killed the dwindling enthusiasm we all had. ( . . . even though it won by popular vote as the next tourney lol)

Since those last battles we all had I haven't picked up this game in all this time. It could never be as great as it was, when it was with all of you.

So maybe in a few months I'll come back here and I see if someone else has seen this and commented. Maybe we can get back together and do another game or the like.

Otherwise I have said my peace and wish you all luck in your lives and in your AC cockpits.

haha, i got this game a couple years too late it seems, id love to see this revitalized but i don`t think there`s really enough fanbase, feel free to prove me wrong ^^

Hi there, Atrum. Long time no post. Where have you been?

I dropped by on a whim, and it's a good thing I did. I agree that this was the best AC experience I've had. It was the first time I'd played a customization game on a competitive level, and the tourneys had pretty cool themes. Formula Front was really special because the AI element allowed us to stage battles without manual control. I dunno if there will be another game like it. In hindsight the game was flawed (the weapons weren't all balanced, and favored grenades and bazookas) but I still had fun.

No need to apologize. I never thought it was your fault, and I'm not sure anyone else did either. It was only natural that the community lost its zest overtime--I thought the effects were noticeable way before you hosted. Remember how we'd sometimes alternate between high and low moments of activity?

I haven't picked the game up either, and didn't buy AC4. AC5 is coming up, and some of the changes sound interesting, but I'm really not sure.

The community is splintered. Not sure where Animesou hangs these days, but I haven't checked her website. Haven't kept up with Rainmaker. Jacques/Ryss is apparently into MGO. Haven't heard from him but I'm pretty sure I have his MSN. Laeq, Seph, and O-G are all on PSN list. O-G goes by Rediema, but hasn't signed in in ages. I don't speak to Laeq anymore though he signs in occasionally. As for Seph, we've actually exchanged a few messages recently talking about PS3 games.

Speaking of which, do you have a current-gen console, Atrum? If you have a PS3, you can drop your ID and we could play something online. I used to play stuff like Resistance and Uncharted 2 hardcore.

Currently the games I've been playing are League of Legends, Halo: Reach, Starcraft 2, and soon I'll be playing in the Dynasty Warrior Online closed beta, and I'm waiting on a game called Tera Online to come out.

Unfortunately, I don't have my PSP anymore...so ACFF is officially behind me whether I like it or not lol

And ditto with the previous couple posts...this place made me appreciate AC much more than anyplace else.

PS. League of Legends is a totally F2P game that is AWESOME...if anyone cares to join me.
