Mmm...biped Widower. Heh, if someone can configure the AI such that the AC can fire, do a jump+dash (or run quickly) strafe, fire, jump+dash strafe, and so on in a quick, monotonous manner while maintaning a solid range, then it's a start, almost a triumph. The thing is, it would HAVE to match the Widower in firing rate and accuracy, which is hindered by lowered stability and increased movement. Having said all that, I'm thinking that it's impossible.

Bakabum, you can find out the signficant of the calorific value by pressing "select" on the screen that has it and highlighting it for a minidefinition.
I cant recall at the moment...

try using the operation chip that forces the use of Dual Back parts, for my AI setup, it causes my AC to kneel for however long is neccesary to use up the shots, then at 30 secs i use the disarm back weapons mod chip

I think the AC will be taking too many shots by kneeling down for 30 seconds...and the Chimera shots won't be accurate either, since it's going to take so many possible hits.
I think the Chimera's made solely for tanks and such.

Ever think of using a Reverse joint heavierweight leg part?
they still offer good mobility and carry a bit more stability than regular bipeds

I think the leg part that's directly above the Jackal2 is the best leg part overall, especially in making a heavy but relatively quick AC, and it's great for a biped Chimera since it's got high defense+stability+speed. Bleh, it's good for any biped model.

sounds like it lol, apparantly youve just made a new discovery...hmm...
(rushes away to create a new AC)

I think the oryx2 is also a pretty good leg part for LX or Chimera bipeds, if anyone's thinking about reverse legs parts, like oonga boonga.

Anyone know if inside ECM makers stack with Level ECM interferance? I'm working on a build designed especially to withstand the high levels of interference caused by the Furnace stage, and I'm wondering if equipping an ECM maker on it (Symana) would cause any effect to the AC at all, considering the ECM level of the symana, is 800, and the furnace is standard at 960...

I assume they do since having one Hoishi works well, but having two Hoishi's on the feild basically cancle out any lock

Mmm.. thats what im going for, so far, i've been trying to test it out on the Game's mechs that have an S rank in Vs ECM, according to the stats, they start being unable to lock once a symana is launched, otherwise they are still sort of able to target me...

I have a 9 year old brother who plays ACFF, after asking me about my strange actions, to be exact copying designs from here to the ACFF on the PSP and putting my ACs against it, he became quite interested himself in joining, now I wouldn't mind having him here but he has no experience posting on boards and probably still not familiar with the names of the parts.
other than that, he's a pretty good Architect, he's been giving me many challenges so far.
So do you think he should join?

Thats fine, we welcome anyone familiar with the game.
Of course, you could help moderate what he says if at all possible.

Hi, this is EJ from the ACO forums, I saw your thread today about this FF forum and site, pretty nice I like it a lot, I see that you guys got something pretty good going on here and since there isn't a forum like it, it's unique.
A few things, I like to keep everything together over at ACO for easier accessability and technical reasons, so I'm adding support for this site over at the portal.
Mr. admin please read your PM over at ACO for more info.
Thank you.

So will we be migrating over there or staying here? Will mods here still be mods if we move, I know shear will be losing a lot of power.

I've been thinking, What if we allow the League Architects to loan some Credits? I'm seeing that losing money is far more easier than gaining them, I guess we aren't careful enough, I've seen how some are struggling to get enough Credits to modify their ACs, so I think maybe we could give them a loan or something the like till they can hold their own?
