No need to apologize, man. I mean, if all else fails, submit one of your old AC's or make little revisions to them; I know for one Rook and Bishop can both do very well. But just because I said that, I guess you CAN make your old AC's a starting point, instead of starting from scratch. And, if necessary, I'll just give you a half day extension or something.
This extension applies to all who can't submit a design on time because he/she is busy. Just try to submit a design as soon as you can (on this Saturday or REALLY REALLY EARLY on Sunday...not July or something) without looking at the deadline date. I plan on doing the first round and posting the results all on Sunday, so getting your AC's to me before that time will really speed up the process.

Alright thanks. I think we have at least 15 now. Let's see if Tailsnake, cobalt, gasu, bigjon, sinner, and others who I cannot remember at this moment submit a design some time.
Seeing that there's an odd number of entries (most likely), auto-advance WILL be in effect. The AC that survives a battle with the highest % of remaining AP will get the autoadvance, and an AC will only get the autoadvance once (even if it pwns every round, I want to be fair to everyone else as well), meaning that the runner up with highest AP will get it.
BTW, Where did Sinner go off to?
Edit - I just went to my job orientation and second interview today. I'm gonna start work on Monday from 8 or 9 to 5 (F#$&!), and will end August 18th. I'll still try to get the tourney done as soon as I can and help with revamping the league. Since I plan on going out on Sunday, expect to see results for the first round late on Sunday or on Monday night, and no later than that.
To all who have not submitted a design and are still interested, PLEASE do so promptly and I'm extending the deadline to Saturday afternoon.

Sorry man. the deadline hasn't even arrived yet. officially it's supposed to be midnight by my time. So....there's about 5 more hours. I made an extension because I want a few more people to submit (namely TS, who said that he will submit a design) and I guess I'll stop accepting sometime tomorrow.

lol. Well, just don't strap on too many energy-consuming items on those tanks; since there's dash and jump in place, energy may deplete quickly. I hope there aren't many tanks submitted...or else it would be a kind of quick draw tourney instead of AI...
I'm going to volunteer at the SPCA right now, so by the time I get back, I hope to see that you've submitted your two designs, TS. Thanks.

mm..since you are telling me your plans beforehand, TS, I'm going to do the matchups anyway, and leave hopefully 2 AC's empty, and your AC's will be fighting those. If not, one of them MAY auto-advance (depends on the drawing).
