heh, i took the liberty because i dont want to clog your fic with replies. I liked the intro, and i also liked the references to the other games hehe 2 questions: 1. You said that you had written a ton, and while what you put down isnt a small ammount by any means, but did you have more that you havent posted yet? 2. IF you do have more, when can we expect it (you can take that as a compliment stating that i like the story and am waithing for more  ) |

I indeed do have a lot more....but I've got a lot of retouching to do and I want to present Roland in a certain fashion. Therefore, I have to pay a lot of attention to the words he uses and how he "speaks his mind" so that his character stays constant.
Besides that...since you all will be expecting the AC arcade battle...I gotta made it as exciting and interesting as possible. Also, I'm trying to figure out how the arcade machine will work...and how the MS-suit/cockpit thing will make sense once I get on to Roland's tourney matches back in the present day. If any of you have watched G Gundam...then expect me to make the cockpits and MS system sort of like that...and more realistic.
And about when the next part is coming out...I only have tonight to write it. I have to force myself to start on my 3 essays tomorrow and finish them before midnight Saturday, and they're very important assignments, so I need to get that out of the way first. Then comes the tourney on the weekdays...so I guess I only have time late at night to do them, assuming I get constant help from members around here with the tourney...as "promised." I don't know where karnage went...and Atrum seems to be busy, so maybe I'll be on my own.

I like the references as well. Lol... that Shin Akuma...
It's a good start, but of course I'd like to see more before I make judgements about it.
One thing I'm a bit curious about... it seems as though AI is existent in this AC universe, seeing as there is a reference to 'maximum jumping'.
I'm just wondering then how he got into an accident if his AC was doing the work, unless there is something I'm missing. Or perhaps the AI works different, in that they program it to perform better in certain areas but still pilot it.

I DO know how to explain it, though, but since I consider it to be important to the story at this point...I'm gunna have to keep quiet.
I fully understand that AI + Pilot = utter confusion, so please bear with me.

Quite descriptive, you actually do battles very well; and it was easy to imagine.
Heh... this is interesting. In Part 1 it was said that Thomas was in "critical condition", but now it seems he's doing okay.
I'm fairly confident they were referring to the same guy.

mmm.......it's a flashback.
Critical condition Thomas is much later...
Thomas v. Roland is their first meeting, which I'm writing about.
Here's the chronology...
Thomas v. Roland at arcade
*stuff happens*
Thomas gets injured in REAL battle
Roland takes his spot
Those are the only things I've covered in the first two "chapters".
One final detail for clarification...okay...the start of chapter one is in the present. But after "In reality, he was helping me," it's all flashback.

It's a lengthy "flashback," but I just thought that I can progress with 'what happened' in the past by doing what I did. I plan to go back to the present much later in.

Well. I'm not going to use the ACs the way that Dark and Laeq does it, meaning that I will probably feature ACs once in a while that RESEMBLE some of the more well-known builds on these boards.
So...if O-G wanted me to use "Barda" specifically...he might be disappointed.

actually i was looking for a Nichrin use to pop up in my favor lol...Barda is somewhat overrated in comparison to Zeratul...much less sophisticated AI than Zeratul and a less unique strategem

i didnt want Barda in this fic...i just explained that Dark...the only AC of mine id like to see appear in here is Saturate(my first AC in entered in the Quad tourney that used Gavial2,Ogre2, that super lightweight back LGL that doesnt use clips, Ragora, the Spread Back Part and some other parts) and either a Nichrin user(whether its based off Zeratul or not) and maybe a Psuedo offshoot FUBU(uses BZL + Echidna ) |

i was playing that comment off of Jacque's absolute obsession with Barda during the AI tournament
and also note the "haha!!" at the end of the sentence whch signifies that i was just messing with Jacques...i mean what AC has CHARMS ffs? lol theyre big hulking masses with gigantic guns on them...how could anyone find that charming in a "fuzzy teddybear" sense?
