Company Tournament – entrants will submit AC’s representing companies Crest and Mirage, to be supported by a number of Kisaragi parts. Each company will have its own bracket, and the winning design from each company will go head-to-head in a final match.
Rules (still in progress):
1. Each entrant is allowed to enter 2 AC’s, either one for each company or both for the same company.
2. Only one Kisaragi part (not including optional parts) is allowed per AC.
3. Any number of optional parts from Kisaragi may be used on either companys' AC's. The rest of the optional parts equipped on an AC HAS to be from the company that an AC represents.
4. Absolutely and positively NO LX-cannon users allowed.
Post your designs here. (Jacques's edit) Please post all of your designs in the same format as the one that shear made for league; it's much easier to build AC's when they're submitted in that format. Thanks.
Battles will take place at Dewlight City, and finals at Grand Arena.
The credit reward has been decided (thanks to shear).
1st--35000 cd
2nd--25000 cd
3rd--10000 cd
4th--5000 cd
5th(in case of an anomoly)--1000 cd

An openly discussed tournament is considered to be official.
One that someone asks me personally about is considered unofficial.
Therefore, this tourney topic is in the right polace (sorry I didn't clear that up before)

Just submit an AC as if you're playing the lottery and see if it's going to take home one of the five fabulous prizes!
Heh, I'm just trying to get people to participate.
Edit: Magus, I think that your Zero Breaker used mostly Crest parts (shotgun....cougar2(?)....that...one core...etc. etc.) Maybe you can give old Zero Breaker some part changes and tune up and submit it to see how far it gets here.

was just thinking of a serious reward for winning a tourney... I personall don't know if even I agree with this proposition...

Well, pretty much anyone with an AC in Alpha or Omega that wins can use the LX to swoop their way to the top...and that's a pretty scary thought.

Not entirely true tho...
If they use LX chances are they are going to use an neergy conserving tank as well. ACs with high manueverability (esp quads like Cerberus) could totally run circles around an LX tank, and have a fair chance of winning.

The cost for equipping the LX, even with certification, should be relatively expensive, due to it's extreme power. If this does go into effect, certifications will be posted in the credit balance section (which may be modified to accomodate)

Yea in tthe right hands it may be to powerful.We may not have a new first place winner for a long time it could just be 1 guy for a while.So reveiw it before you make a desicion in doing that. |

Winning one tournament is hard enough. Winning 3... nigh impossible. I have only won two, and I'm said to be an expert! (I DIDN"T SAY THAT!!!!)
Remeber the cost will be outrageous to equip the damn thing, and even then, there may be restrictions.
Or the LX credit can be a commodity (sp?), which can be sold, at the winner's choice and requested price.
I dunno...
We'll see what happens with the poll.

Then that means....we have to wait months more for two more tourneys to sprout out of nowhere so that the other two lx credits can be earned (yes I want all three). But I'm sure that chances of a single person winning three straight will be quite low, which means that the wait time for a LX user will be even longer. Maybe...shear should just make the cost of an LX cannon in the part mod section to be insanely high, like 50000 or something.

BTW, the lx cert would be in addition to the credit reward. Winning an official tourney is an extremely prestigious achievement.

Actually Animesou PM-ed me her first design....but I'm going to wait for her to post it here out of respect, and in case she wants to mod her design before finally submitting it. And I forgot to say that I don't think modifications are allowed once you submit a design. You think that's an okay rule, shear?

But seriously, just try stuff out. Tanks, bipeds, shotguns, bazookas, just start from scratch; I'm sure you'll be able to find a design that you particularly like and feel like it's good enough to be submitted.
