mmm...if it's a mirage build, I think I know what animesou is up to. I'm also making a mirage design myself, since I just finished my crest one, but I won't reveal it just yet.

BTW. carnage, is the deadline still the 13th? Because if it is, I'm screwed, heh. But it's okay, it's your decision.

And animesou....if we just oh happened to come up with a similar design (right now I'm developing a quad leg for either mirage or crest, but most likely mirage, so it'll most likely have energy weapons), then....poo...

Well...I tried to make the quad-leg chimera user a reality, but when that didn't work because of the huge weight issue, I used geryon2, then....I made a quad leg with no weapons because I got frustrated, lol. I still want to make a quad-leg though, either crest of mirage now...

While Mirage weapons are good, their high drain kills it's usefulness, why in the world does it have to be that high!? it's already drainy enough.

Oh and BTW, the only weapons I see good on quad are the railguns ( Ladon1/2 )

Thanks for all the advice guys, but I still haven't been able to find the right back weapon for my quad-leg. Skylla/Skylla2 wreaks at long range (and mirage has no particularly long-ranged FCS). Geryon series drains too much, and the Ladon series takes too long to charge (remember, the finals match is at grand arena, which will give the opponent an advantage because they're close, and the Ladon user is just, well, charging at close range). But, despite all the difficulties that I'm encountering, I feel that quad legs are most ideal for energy weapons (I'm referring mostly to back weapons), though the leg part itself drains a lot of energy, because bipeds need to kneel down to fire (blast!). And stupid mirage only has hover leg parts.

I think I might go back to my original Widower-killing pusedo-sniper that I never posted up.

Anyway, to answer carnage's question, I have a test pretty much every day next week, so I need to put that before the tourney. However, if you feel that we shouldn't make this tourney another drag, you can 'officially' re-announce that the deadline will be May 13th. BUT (yes, there's a but), there doesn't seem to be too many participants so far, and I'm worried. Is this tournament just not attractive, or are people just not enthusiastic?

I'm sure carnage and I would be glad to extend the deadline. I mean, if you are all okay with that, then we should be (I'm sure carnage and I would okay it).

I mean, it's not like we're going to disappear and just cancel this tourney; we'll just put this tournament in standby mode pretty much, and wait for a large enough number of entrants to come in. It's gotta be in the double digits at least....

I don't mind extending the Deadline, my exams start on 15th of may and my design is almost complete so I got nothing to worry my mind.
