Welcome to the second Blade Tournament, folks!! This incarnation is sure to be fantastic, what with the competitors all being top notch fighters. Who will win? No one knows completely, so let's all sit back and watch as the events unfold...
NOTE: Matches will be done by Me, Laeq, Dark, and Atrum.
NOTE2: Atrum's AC, DG-IX, was allowed into the tournament after a bit of arbitration and discussion. As a result, bigjon's AC, RustyRazor, trades spots to recieve the free advancement, while DG takes its place to fight Rikimaru.
The matchups are as follows (not in order)
Rover (Karn-Age) vs. Fire Demon 2 (Rain) Arondite (Shotdownmuse) vs. Ominia (Atrum) Red Obsidian (Dark) vs. Derelict (Laeq) Excalibur (Dark) vs. Caladbolg (Shotdownmuse) Falk (Karn-Age) vs. Fire Demon 1 (Rain) Fire Demon 3 (Rain) vs. Ancestor Red (Jacques) Begallta (Shotdownmuse) vs. Dark Angel (Animesou) TheLegsRDead (Jacques) vs. N'aix (O-G) Ominis (Atrum) vs. Vagabond (Laeq) Teh Cheat (Anmesou) vs. BlueLEMENTAL (Jacques) Rikimaru (O-G) vs. DG-IX (Atrum)
Auto-Advance: RustyRazor (BigJon)
Match 1
Grid 1: TheLegsRDead (Jacques) Grid2: N'aix (O-G)
A short match. As soon as the announcer said "GO!!!", N'aix bolted from its starting position, while TheLegsRDead just stood in place and yawned. N'aix circled TheLegs and shot off a few blade waves, then decided to move in and stike directly. Legs just pulled back it's parry blade, and stabbed N'aix, pushing it back quite a ways, and shaving off a huge chuk of its AP. N'aix just shrugged it off and attempted to get around behing Legs, but the turret just turned and slashed with its energy blade., putting N'aix below 10% AP remaining. Making one final attempt to dent Legs, N'aix backed up and boosted forward again. It met the searing blade of Legs.
Winner: TheLegsRDead Match Time: 0m14s AP Remaining: 8088
Match 2
Grid1: Rikimaru (O-G) Grid2: DG-IX (Atrum)
This match promised to be a heated one, and delivered with spectaular glory. The two ACs started by moving roughly toward eachother. Riki immediately attempted to get an early lead by poking with its NIOH, but DG was not one to fall prey to that trick. It circled to the side, avoiding the deadly steel blade.Riki continued to use the limited ammo of the parry blade, missing with every one. DG, who constantly had its back to Riki, moved as if it could see its opponent. It dodged each strike with grace until its opponeet dropped its parry. DG used its OB occassionally to modify the distance between it and its foe. Riki, though using its Anoku booster to keep a constant eye on DG, finally found an opportune moment to attack, and then another. It seemed as if Riki had the advantage. DG then dropped its own parry blade, and continued its dizzying technique. Riki the found another moment to attack. This slash caused DG to drop to roughly one third of Rikis AP, and the win seemed assured. But then... DG got angry, and began to retaliate. It back boosted and slashed at Riki, shaving off a large portion of AP, but Riki also got in a good slash. DG was determined to kill the light footed biped. Then, after a few moments of no hits, they both lined up and took the swing. Both AC were now in the redzone; DG gave far more damage than Riki, but still it did not have the AP lead. With little more than 200 AP more than DG, Riki ran for its life for the rest of the match. The time ran out, and Riki won.... barely.
Winner: Rikimaru Match Time: 3m00s Grid1 AP Remaining: 536 Grid2 AP Remaining: 311
Match 3
Grid1: Arondite (shotdownmuse) Grid2: Ominia of Ceremonies (AtrumCustodis)
Arondite, one of the few hover legged ACs in the tournament, was able to pull of an early parry blade hit. Ominia followed up with a strike of her ow, which brought the AP levels to the same level. This taxation of her energy caused Ominia to go into charging mode; ripe for the picking by Arondite. But strangely, the hover legged AC did not take advantage of the situation well, and just seemed to wait for Ominia to regain her energy. A vergy gentlemanly thing to do, I might say. Almost the exact moment her energy was recharged, Arondite took a sweeping slash at her, but Omina just jumped over the long blade and retreated. Arondite tried for another parry attack, but missed barely. Ominia then decided that the match should be over. She made a series of quick attacks, some of which executed very gracefully, others not so much, buty she succeeded in destroying her opponent. Apparently, she doesn't like getting special treatment.
Winner: Ominia of Ceremonies Match Time: 1m40s AP Remaining: 3908
Match 4
Grid1: Ominis of Ceremonies (AtrumCustodis) Grid2: Vagabond (Laeq)
For the first 30 seconds of this battle, neither AC took any hits. They matched eachother's movements almost perfectly, until Vagabond was able to land a beautiful parry shot. Ominis was sent flying backward, but it quickly retaliated with a blade wave. Vagabond just jumped over the wave, and continued the battle. Ominis continued to make attacks, but missed everwhere. Vagabond happened to get in another parry strike, quickly followed by a slash with its blade. A few moments later, Ominis had fallen. Vagabond did not take a single blow during the battle.
Winner: Vagabond Match Time: 0m54s AP Remaining 8301

Greetings to everyone! Coming Out of Retirement for the Day, It’s Atrum Custodis Bringing you Three Battles for the Second Blader Tournament!
Some of you may be wondering why I would take my time that was severely needed for sleep now that it is 6:50 AM.
It’s quite Simple, I agreed to do them in order to Enter My third AC, DG-IX, into the Tourney . . . who lost in the first round already . . . But anyway!
Join me in the Battles I like to call,
Don’t do unto others what you don’t want done unto you!
Or
Crimes do not Pay!
First Match
Begallta(Shotdownmuse) Vs. Dark Angel(Animesou)
The Battle starts off with Dark Angel hitting with an Energy Blade then boosting off to stay out of Begallta’s counter attack. Continuing the semi-defensive maneuvers Dark Angel bids its time waiting to strike while Begallta continue its wave of . . . energy waves. Getting close enough for a blade attack Begallta tries for a strike only to get an Ariel blade hit from the face down for DarkAngel jumped out of the way of the lunge and returned the gesture on the way down and now has a great lead of AP from 8000+ too 6000+. The two continue to evade each other until Begallta managed to get two hits with the blade, only getting one back in return. Not long after, it manage to hit with an Ariel hit then a second just a few moments later. After this with 45 seconds left on the clock and now leading buy only around 300 AP Begallta decides to put Dark Angels defensive maneuvering back at it keeping the Red and Grayish-Blue AC in the lead until the match was over.
Winner: Begallta
Combat Time: 3m00s
Final AP
Begallta: 5863 Dark Angel: 5353
Second Match
Teh Cheat(Anmesou) Vs. BluElemental(Jacques)
It started of with BluElemental literally INCHING his way over to Teh Cheat, taking his time. When it finally got close It all came down to the Parrying blades. They hit each other twice dead on(Give or take a few Energy blades) until BluElemental started to move, Do to walking more then turning he was able to out turn Teh Cheat And in doing so manages to hit Two more times with the Parry grabbing the Win.
Winner: BluElemental
Combat Time: 0m27s
Final AP
BluElemental:2538 Teh Cheat: 0
Third Match
Excalibur(Dark) Vs. Caladbolg(Shotdownmuse)
The battle began with the two circling each other strangely enough never letting the other out of sight. They continued this for the first minute. Until there movements became more erratic, causing the two to get closer from longer periods of time. Both AC brought up their Parrying Blades and managed to glaze each other with them not once but twice bringing the AP down to 2000+each. The battle continued as they dodged each other until Caladabol having the ANOKU was able to come up from behind and hit twice fully with his energy blade.
Winner: Caladabol
Combat Time: 2m28s
Final AP
Excalibur: 0 Caladabol: 2305
‘Don’t do unto others what you don’t want done unto you!’
Is from how Begallta returned the Attacks Dark Angel gave to it then mimicked how Dark Angel Dodged him in the begging of the fight. The original saying I believe goes “Do unto others what you want done unto you.”
“Crime does not Pay!”
Is from how animesou’s AC named “Teh Cheat” had Lost. And is also from how even though I got to get DG-IX into the Tourney It lost in the first round and I still had to do the matches . . .

Battle 8 Grid 1: Rover (karn-age) Grid 2: Fire Demon 2 (rainmaker) The match began like any other, as Rover and Fire Demon began leaping around the arena while missing a few parrying shots here and there. Rover managed to keep up with Fire Demon 2's turning speed, but unfortunately its moonlight waves would not land on target. For every attempt at offence, FD2 would simply jump to safety to avoid the attack. Neither could land a single hit, until FD2 held its position for a second or two to track down Rover. This proved to be the decisive action. Turning around around at lightning speed while Rover's back was turned, the cunning Fire Demon managed not only to score a desctructive enma blow but a successive moonlight attack as well. Rover managed to get one slash in before it was destroyed by yet another energy blade slash.
Length: 0m21s Grid 1 Final AP: 0 Grid 2 Final AP: 5142 Winner: Fire Demon 2
Battle 9 Grid 1: Falk (karn-age) Grid 2: Fire Demon 1 (rainmaker) As soon as the match started, Fire Demon 1 boosted to the ends of the arena, while Falk followed in hot pursuit. Falk skimmed along the ground with ease, but FD1 looked as though it were only toying with the opponent; circling around it multiple times. The first blade wave was then fired by FD1, which Falk managed to strafe away from. After this provoking attempt at offense, they both dashed it each other with blades withdrawn. Unfortunately, the evasive pattern only continued as they dodged any attacks thrown at them. Falk showed off an impressive maneuver, evading while boosting along the air for several seconds.
A minute into the match, and several failed approaches later, the first blade contact was made. After meeting face to face on the ground they exchanged a mutual energy slash attack. The count was now 6519 to 5936. Falk seemed to bluff helplessness as it boosted backwards right against the wall several times, almost taunting the Fire Demon to sink it's deadly jaws into it. FD1 took the bait, but Falk managed to evade at the last instant.
Fury seemed to take over FD1 as it continued to pursue Falk. Another blade attack was exchanged; only this time FD1 took the leading end. Circling the opponent to exact vengeance, Falk almost succeeded in a back attack by was countered yet again by the demon's ferocious turning speed.
Falk, now in the red zone, seemed to accept it's fate as it walked along the ground waiting to be attacked. FD1 complied, finishing the battle in a flash... and a single taros wave.
Length: 1m28s Grid 1 Final AP: 0 Grid 2 Final AP: 2925 Winner: Fire Demon 1
Battle 10 Grid 1: Fire Demon 3 (rainmaker) Grid 2: Ancestor Red (Jacques) Ancestor Red bided its time with a turtle-like walking approach, while FD3 turned to face the opponent. Starting off the battle in a bang, both slashed with their “LB3” blades, resulting in fierce explosions. FD3's tank legs gave it an advantage; it barely budged after the impact and countered with a devastating nioh attack. But AR didn't fail to surprise. Not out of the battle yet; it barely dodged a vicious onslaught of two other parrying attacks, striking back with the LB3 again.
Jumping a few times. AR somehow made itself an open target to Fire Demon's energy waves, but managed to evade all but one. In the final face off Ancestor's extra energy defense gave it the edge. They both slashed, FD3 acting slightly earlier but when the explosion cleared it was Ancestor who had the last laugh. And just when things were looking bleak for “Lieutenant Jacques”.
Length: 0m21s Grid 1 Final AP: 0 Grid 2 Final AP: 1566 Winner: Ancestor Red
Battle 11 Grid 1: Red Obsidian (Dark) Grid 2: Derelict (Laeq) Easily one of the most exciting bouts of the first round. Derelict showed off its fancy footwork with an initial overboost, adjusting its trajectory a bit to get in-line with Obsidian, then pulling off a powerful frontal slash. Red Obsidian barely could barely slash back as Derelict overboosted yet again, this time getting behind the gigantic tank. Red tried to parry with the nioh but the opponent was already a well ways ahead of it. Using the anoku to keep up, it again failed to parry when Derelict jumped up, now losing 2/4 of its attack limit.
A few consecutive overboosts later, Derelict managed to fly across the room where its opponent was and pulled off the same deadly maneuver it did in the beginning of the battle. Again, Red Obsidian missed another opportunity and things were looking bad for it. Derelict inflicted further pain with a blade wave. At this point, Obsidian had lost all of its parrying abilities and had only a taros and a small amount of energy left.
This energy was unwisely taken for turns with the anoku. However, Derelict was no longer overboosting to its advantage and had lost its energy extensions. Taking this as the perfect opportunity to attack, Red landed a direct assault with the taros. Derelict was in the red zone of AP, and tried to run away using its small little legs, but Obsidian simply turned around and finished it off by one more direct slash.
Length: 1m04s Grid 1 Final AP: 6012 Grid 2 Final AP: 0 Winner: Red Obsidian
And so concludes the first round.
Pointless edit by Jacques.

Well folks, after that first round, I'm sure you're anxious for the next batch of battles.
I have here for you the first half of round 2. keep a look out for the other half
BTW, here are the matchups of all ACs in this round:
TheLegsRDead vs Vagabond Caladbolg vs Begallta Red Obsidian vs Ancestor Red BluElemental vs Rikimaru FD1 vs RustyRazor FD2 vs Ominia
Unfortunately, shotdownmuse had the bad luck of having to fight himself in this round... but it was a good match. My condolences to SDM.
Anyway, on to the first 3 battles ^_^
Round 2
Match 1
Grid1: TheLegsRDead (Jacques) Grid2: Vagabond (Laeq)
This match began with Vagabond lazily walkin toward TheLegsRDead, a turret-like tank. Just begore getting within the tank's attack range, Vagabond jumped high and wide to the side, as if trying to avoid an attack, even though no attack was made. Legs followed it's quadrapedal enemy precisely as it hopped here and there. Even when Vagabond jumped over it, Legs just turned around and continued tracking. But right before it had a visual again, it was struck by Vagabond's energy blade, reducing its AP by 3000. The quad immediately jumped away, narrowly avoiding a quick attack by the turret's own sizzling blade. Vagabond teased the tank, inching in and out of its attack radius. The teasing caused Legs to use the NIOH, but missed horribly. The teasing continued, but this time Legs was able to get a full-on energy strike against its opponent, shaving off 1/4 of its AP. A quick attempt at a NIOH strike failed, and Vagabond backed up slightly. Again, Legs tried to get a NIOH strike, and only missed because its prey jumped at the last possible moment. Dropping the useless NIOH after wasting the last shot, it followed up with a blade slash. But Vagabond was not one to take that kind of insult. It moved in to the near-defensless turret and jabbed the huge blade of the ENMA into Legs' core. An exchange of attacks later, and Legs was desperately behind in AP. But Vagabond just walked, quite literally, in circles around the rotating menace for several seconds until it was met with a blue slash from Legs. vagabond made a final attempt to kill Legs, and succeeded by thrusting the ENMA once again into TheLegsRDead's core...
Winner: Vagabond Match Time: 0m53s AP remaining: 684
Match 2
Grid1: Caladbolg (shotdownmuse) Grid2: Begallta (shotdownmuse)
In this fast paced match between ACs of the same team, action filled the stadium as the two ACs circled 'round and 'round, wasting random parry attacks here and there. Caladbold scored the first hit; Begallta followed that some time later. They danced here and there, but landed relatively few strikes. Towards the end, Begallta scored a parry hit while Caladbolg landed a head on energy slash. A few more circles, and Caladbolg thrust forth his parry blade to end the match and send his brother to the sidelines.
Winner: Caladbolg Match Time: 2m25s AP remaining: 1752
Match 3 Grid1: Red Obsidian (Dark) Grid2: Ancestor Red (Jacques)
In this match, two of the favorites of the tourney face off in a battle to the death...
Things started out calmly, with Ancenstor Red keeping a huge distance from the tank Red Obsidian. This continued for more than 30 seconds, but after that mark, things took a drastic turn. AR moved in rapidly, picking at Red from the side, as it helplessly turned and fired a NIOH strike, which missed. It tried again, and again it missed. AR continued its deadly circle of doom, quicly reducing Red's AP to less than 10 percent. AR made a fatal error: it stopped. Red took this shining opportunity to land a beautiful NIOH attack. AR flew back, but immediately boosted forward again... Red was ready for this, as it had already pulled back its right arm. It landed another NIOH hit, but this was not the end of AR. At this point, both ACs were below 10% AP, and it all came down to one final attack. They both slashed....
A huge explosion followed, not from an AC, but from the result of an energy wave hitting. Someone had misjudged the distance...
Red Obsidian stood amidst the carnage, sparking violently from the heavy damage it had sustained... the victor.
Winner: Red Obsidian Match Time: 0m46s AP Remaining: 739

And here's the second half of the matches:
Match 4
Grid1: BluElemental (Jacques) Grid2: Rikimaru (O-G)
This was an action-packed battle. Riki made the first attack, landing a nice energy slash after missing with the NIOH. Blu then got behind Riki and launched a successful blade wave, while Riki missied with the last 3 shots of its NIOH parrying blade. A quick maneuver by riki turned it just in time to slash Blu as it scuttled to the side. A miss here, and ariel strike there, attacks were exchanged left and right by the two competitors. They circled for a while in a corner of the arena, neither landing a decisive hit against the other, until finally Blu broke free of the corner, and backboosted away. Riki followed in hot pursuit, and the two met blades, each striking the other with the full brunt of their energy blades. After a bit more random movement, Riki use it's signature move again, turning just in time to hit Blu as it passed by. Riki made several attempts to hit Blu, and suceeded only once. Blu was ready with its parrying blade, as Riki slashed right into the giant spike of death. Riki wouldn't accept defeat. It circled around Blu, letting off sever blade waves, but failing to inflict serious damage to its enemy. The two came face to face, and riki slashed across Blu's chest with geat contempt. Blue shortly followed with an ariel strike with the moonlight, and finished the match after taking a direct blow by Riki.
Winner: BluElemental Match Time: 2m06s AP Remaining: 1106
Match 5
Grid1: Fire Demon 1 (Rainmaker) Grid2: Rusty Razor (BigJon)
The match began with both ACs meeting in the middle of the arena. Rusty Razor, which had gotten a free advancement from the first round, now was here to prove itself. Rusty landed a parry strike, while FD1 managed to get in a slash from its blade. Rusty began circling the slower biped, but FD1 was not one to give in to simple tricks. It timed an attack, and pulled off a great slash from its blade. A few moments later, the two met in the center again; FD1 slashed and the match was over...
Winner: Fire Demon 1 Match Time: 0m14s AP Remaining: 4911
Match 6
Grid1: Fire Demon 2 (Rainmaker) Grid2: Ominia of Ceremonies (AtrumCustodis)
Omina in this match had a rough time. With the demon on her tail, she landed hard many times, leaving her wide open to sttacks from FD2. early on, she was reduced to less that 10% AP and held that for more than a minute. Fate was not on her side; having landed only one attack, all she could do was run from the inevitable. After going into charging, all seemed lost, but she managed to survive, only to fall victim to a final slash by FD2.
Winner: Fire Demon 2 Match Time: 1m18s AP Remaining: 6805

Well, here's round three. The noose is tightening now. Battles are sure to be heated!
Round 3
Match 1
Grid1: Red Obsidian (Dark) Grid2: Fire Demon 1 (Rainmaker)
Now, enetring the 3rd round, the competition is really heating up. The two competitors, Red Obsidian and Fire Demon 1, were quickly face to face. Obsidian tried for an early hit, but missed only just. FD1 circled and came in for an attack, and landed a slash, but was also hit by Red's blade. FD1 recovered quicly, and jumped on Red's head mockingly, but as soon as it landed, it tasted the hot searing pain of Obsidian's blade again. Shortly after, it felt the sharp pain of a parry blade pierce its armor, and that was that. Fire Demon fell. Obsidian advances to the semi-finals.
Winner: Red Obsidian Match Time: 0m24s AP Remaining: 4010
Match 2
Grid1: Fire Demon 2 (Rainmaker) Grid2: BluElemental (Jacques)
The two quad ACs walked to the center of the arena, and exchanged blows. FD2 with an energy slash, Blu with a Parry followed by an energy slash. Blu jumped on FD2's head, then quickly retreated, fearing the wrath of the demon. A few moments later, Blu landed another energy slash, and again jumped on FD2's head, this time seemingly for fun. FD2 came up from behind its opponent, but Blu jumped and barely dodged the attack. It regained its orientation, and made another successful attack against the Demon. Seconds later, Blu finished the battle with a final slash, landing a total of 7 moonlight hits and 1 parry strike.
Winner: BluElemental Match Time: 0m29s AP Remaining: 4097
Match 3
Grid1: Caladbolg (shotdownmuse) Grid2: Vagabond (Laeq)
In this round, Vagabond had a difficult time of tracking the speedy Caladbolg. It constantly jumped over and got behind Vagabond, making for a frustrating battle. Eventually, Vagabond jumped an turned, seeing Caladbolg directly in its line of view. It boosted foreward, and the two met in an explosion of energy. They both took damage, but Caladbolg took the greater portion. It tried to continue its previous tactic, but its four-legged enemy had learned. Again the two met blades, and again damage was dealt in greater quantity Caladbolg. Thinking it could boost away and come back for am easy attack, all it met was the blade of Vagabond again. A few seconds later, Vagabond landed another slash, ending the match.
Winner: Vagabond Match Time: 0m38s AP Remaining: 6599

Semi-FinalsAC Vagabond gets the Auto-Advancedue to highest AP remaining at the end of the previous matches (no, I'm not favoring my own AC. Ask Jacques and Dark)Grid1: Red Obsidian (Dark) Grid2: BluElemental (Jacques) This match started out fierce, with both ACs exchanging blows, dealin equivalent amounts of damage. Blu luckily got in a parry hit as Red was turned to the side, but the battle was far from over, as Red's high defense protected it fairly well. Yet, for some reason, Obsidian turned and started to roll away from Blu, as if shunning its responsibilty. A wall changed its mind, however, and it turned to fight. Obsidian managed to get Blu's legs as it was jumping, the it hit Blu again from behind shortly after. The two came face to face and paused a moment. Red thrust his energy blade forward, stabbing, not slashing, Blu in the gut, and almost the same instant Blu returned the favor tenfold with a slash and a parry strike. A final slash by Blu ended the battle in a glorious explosion. Winner: BluElemental Match Time: 0m47s AP Remaining: 2294 The final strike!

After many hard and grueling battles, only the two best blader architects have remained standing. Those architects are Laeq, the infamous admin and previous blade champion here to defend his title; and the second architect is the challenger Jacques, renowned for being a consecutive winner of numerous league tourneys. Will BLUeLEMENTAL be crowned as the new, undisputed, blade champion? Or has the spirit of Wanderer been passed down to the next in line, Vagabond? Find out below in: THE FINAL MATCH Grid 1: BLUeLEMENTAL versus Grid 2: Vagabond Vagabond, the tramp without a home, wandered into the Leptas Arena dragging it's weight along with it. Its expression was dark and bleak even as the lights around it flicked on, revealing a lone, empty pink shell sitting in the middle of the arena.
The name of this shell was BLUeLEMENTAL. Sensing an intruder nearby, it lifted itself off its four feet, rubbing the dust off it's ancient armor to get ready for the first battle it had in a long while.
“READY... GO...” droned the tired, old announcer; sick of repeating the same phrase over and over again.
Never one to be patient, Vagabond moved swiftly at the opponent with parrying blade held back. BLUeLEMENTAL barely budged, not bothering to dodge the attack as it was misfired to the left of it. It seemed as though Vagabond had attempted a fake, now boosting around its opponent to begin the battle seriously.
Blue complied to the challenge, swinging its mystical blue blade forth and summoning a large energy wave to cast aside its tenacious foe. The wave missed by an inch, colliding with the arena walls and shaking everything in sight. An earthquake seemed to erupt as the two finalists stood walking against each other in all-too-familiar stance. Seemingly engaging in a grappling match, they struggled face to face and began to ready their parrying blades for the final hit.
*SLASH!*
“Grid 1 takes heavy damage.”
The sound resounded like an echo as Vagabond pushed aside BLUeLEMENTAL like a rag doll. Not one to be outdone, Blue immediately countered back with a moonlight strike, which landed dead on.
They both took a tactical retreat to regain their senses. BLUeLEMENTAL, dazed, whipped its body around to face the opponent but found that Vagabond was already gone. Thinking one step ahead of the competition, it had jumped over Blue and taken a place behind it.
Two slashes were heard, but both missed as the ENMA lacked the range to carry out any damage. Vagabond jumped from side to side, even overboosting, and sometimes landing in front of Blue as if to taunt it. However, it proved that it could easily back up its cockiness, hurling a destructive LB3 wave Blue's way.
Two pink blurs flowed across the arena, neither attacking, just evading; as if reading one another's movements.
Then came the decisive impact.
Both of them landed against the wall, and being trapped, slashed at each other viciously with their respective blades. An awesome explosion of blue and orange resulted, sending the contenders packing.
Falling back a bit to regain footing, it looked as though neither was in any condition to go on. But that proved wrong as Vagabond continued its unrelenting assault, slashing BLUeLEMENTAL yet again, on the side just as it was about to retreat.
The count was now 2112 to 5445 and Blue had gone into charging. Blue tried to make a comeback by parrying, but failed miserably as Vagabond overboosted to safety. Vaga's lucky streak continued and it attacked one more time with the LB3 blade before circling around the opponent like a vulture and prey.
In this case, both vulture and prey seemed to tire of the endless battle and agreed to settle things once and for all near the middle of the arena. Vagabond and BLUeLEMENTAL, the two finalists, seemed almost equal at this point... but the final attacks would decide it all.
In a single confrontation, they slashed each other at the same time; drastically reducing their AP count. Blue backed away, looking scared as it was reduced to 0495. Choosing to fire a blade safely at a distance, the shot again missed as Vagabond leaped into the air.
Feeling the need to end the miserable, pink shell's life with haste, Vagabond turned around from where it jumped, deciding the match with a close-up energy slash.
Sparks crackled out of the once pink shell named BLUeLEMENTAL. It's core was tattered and broken, having been cut through several times. And so... pulling its weapon out of the enemy core's body, Vagabond walked away, wandering, searching for a stronger opponent... and leaving the one called BLUeLEMENTAL behind, never to battle again.
Length: 1m46s Grid 1 Final AP: 0 Grid 2 Final AP: 4217 Winner: Vagabond And so concludes the epic final match of the 2nd Official Blade Tourney. Both competitors were painted pink for the occasion, upon Jacques' request. Congrats to the admin Laeq, proving that he is still the champ of blades for the 2nd time. Vagabond's performance was stunning, yet Blue proved to be a worthy final adversary as well. Please offer your comments/ congratulations to these final ACs and architects.
