First off, for those who might not be familiar with what the "firepower value" is, the FPV can be found by pressing triangle twice when you're building your AC. As far as I know, EO core, inside, back, and arm weapons all contribute to raising an AC's FPV, so with a limit set up, choose your parts wisely. ;D

The FP limit will be VERY STRICT, meaning that if an AC's FPV is 8003 (assuming the limit is at 8000), it will NOT be accepted. This is not meant as an act of discrimnation, because it will be in effect to all of us. This rule MAY be changed if I get a riot in this thread...because I'm scared of unhappy customers .

I encourage you all to have an active discussion here, and settle on whether or not certain other restrictions or guidelines should be set in place. One of which I can think of is a ban of tanks which O-G suggested, as he reasoned that tanks will obviously perform better against weaker weapon combo's, and that's an excellent point. Take all of this into consideration when you vote, because a relatively higher FPV will allow one to combat tanks, whereas a lower value MIGHT require the banning of a tank.

Edit: Also, if you guys want values like 6500, 7500, 8500, and so forth, instead of seeing all zeroes, then state the value as usual and we'll see if it wins the popular vote.

If I can finish it in time, the AC creator will also be able to determine the OVERALL Firepower, that would include the heat value of weapons.

Well, if enough people share the same sentiment, then I don't see a problem with it. I haven't checked out enough weapon combo's to say that 7,500 is a "better" number, or more preferrable, at least for you. Can you explain to me why that is?

I'm going to give this poll a maximum or around 2 days..not counting this one. If we happen to only get 7 total votes, so be it; I want to get the tourney going before friday.

It seems that no matter what, the tourney will be favoring high AP AC's or tanks/large platforms, so maybe the measures that O-G and Laeq has presented might need to be in effect...what do you guys think? I'm speaking about AP limits and tank/platform bans...

yes most definatly it would stupid to have a tourney with everyone with 9999AP b/c it be harder for the people like us doin the matches. I mean image the commentary during the match.......ughh

He volunteered to help out, so I'm going to split the rounds with him, and possibly Atrum and Dark as well. Dark says he can take care of the semi's and final matches if needed (for photos and all), so I'll most likely hand that to him.
