Nope. I haven't downgraded my PSP (I got 2.6) so I'm not going to be taking any myself. I'll just try my best to make the descriptions engaging.

BTW, I just voted for 8000, and my rationale behind it is that 9000 allows for too many strong combinations of weapons that renders the whole "firepower limit" concept virtually useless. 9000 FP can allow dual bazookas to happen, which may include a BP. It also allows a Sawa+Griffon+Selena. I'm not saying this can be considered to be a "deadly" combination, but it sure counters my original intention to make people second think using a sawa or BP because they'll have to combo it with a MUCH weaker weapon. One more example, a sawa+geryon2 is also possible with 9000 FP. It may be used to produce a weaker version of Dark's infamous Rex II, but it's still a deadly combination alone, without Selena or inside napalm.

So, the difference between 8000 and 9000 is a firepower limit tourney or a nearly no-limits tourney. I take choice one. BUT, I'm not going to FORCE anyone to vote my way; I'm just stating my opinion. So don't get me wrong, you can vote for 42,000 like bigjon. ;D

Jacques, if you didn't see in the creator's release thread or from the homepage, I updated it to include stat data, including Attack Heat firepower.

Now you can place a limit on that area.

uh...I'm at work and I can't load the thing right now; it's just a bunch of useless boxes and colors. Anyway, I think I'll just go with the FPV as I'm building the AC's. I don't know what you mean by attack heat firepower at this point, so I'll take a look at it when I can. I'm going over to a friend's birthday party and I won't be back till late...and I hope that a final and hopefully decisive vote will be placed.

BTW Laeq, thanks for putting in the hours to improve the AC Creator, as well as casting your vote.

Well 8000 would be the right chose since there is one vote for 7000 bringing the Average closer to 8000 then 9000.




Unless someone voted 10,000 then we would be right back to a tie lol.

I was going to use the same reasoning, Atrum, but I was afraid that some people might be dissatisfied. Lemme ask Laeq and Dark sometime and see what they want me to do with this situation. I'm pretty sure no one else will be voting at this point..

Force us to make more innovative builds not necessarily involving bazookas.

Now ahead by two. I agree with who ever said force us to use 8000. I look around the weaps and found out its a bit esay to get a good(Not Great) weap combo + EQ with 9000.

I think this is a discussion for the admins and/or mods...for the sake of this tourney and what its theme is suppose to mean. I support 8000 because it limits A LOT, I repeat, A LOT more VERY POWERFUL combinations of weapons than we think, which should've been the central focus of my FPV limit idea in the first place. I've decided to not ban tanks or high AP AC's at this point, because with low FPV, a quick biped Nichirin user may be able to take it out cough Hellish cough. And with 9000...it can be tanks/high AP+high attack AC's galore.

Again, the point of a firepower limit is to force architects to feel as if they're out of their groove. I'm not saying that Dark will enter a weaker version of Rex, but Geryon2+Karasawa is possible with 9000 firepower, and I think that combination speaks for itself.

However, since I created a poll, it would be wrong for me to not count the votes for 9000 and just say that 8000 is "better," so at this point, I will try to submit AC's with FPV's below 8000 to stay true to my objective, and I encourage all of you to do so as well.

I guess the max should be three...just like the previous tourney. Be sure to make a variety of AC's though, because I don't plan on putting any bans on anything at this point. I just don't want to see very many karasawa's and BP's on AC's. None of my AC's have it and I don't plan on giving them any.

i think all of my ACs integrate at least one pretty much unused weapon each...and i dont think any of them use a BP or Sawa
