Official AC:FF League Discussion Thread

Alright, upon carnage's comments I've decided to make a thread for league discussion. This is where you can post comments of the battles going on, congratulations, rivalry declarations, you name it.

Basically, any comments that don't exactly fit within their respective challenge topics (though by no means do not stop posting there).

I'll start:

Ancient Red is moving up the ranks quickly, I hope it doesn't catch up to Rex .

I think me and carnage need to start a healthy competition with eachother, he's cursed me when it comes to tournies and we entered the Gfaqs board around the same time as eachother i think...

We need to end the rivalry between me and Sinner but it doesn't like that'll happen with a Genocide vs Cobra II match coming up

Heh, I wonder if that rivalry will ever end...?

My rival is... me. No seriously, I dont think I have ever been in serious competition with anyone....so my own power equal is myself .

lol I usually dont like killing off Magus in my game. His Dark Matter spell rocks. Triangle spins around destroying everything. But the endings are better - Glenn back to his original form.

I love beating Magus 1v1 with frog. <3 no offense dark

Magus is incredibly strong, yes, but i do like using both Marle and lucca, or Robo kept at max hp with the crisis arm + berserker =D

Anyone get to play Radical Dreamers? I was never able to get my hands on it, but I read somewhere that there's more of a story on Magus.

but Magus's story was explained in CT. you see him as a kid.

Yeah, but I was just wondering if Radical Dreamers would provide a link for some of the cloudy history that was included in Chrono Cross. Such as why Chrono, Marle, and Lucca were spirits in that site at Dead Sea...and some other things. Maybe I just didn't read the in-game text well enough when I played CC.

No, I have not. Everyone I know who has Dragon Quest VIII doesn't have the legit copy (which comes with the demo, I think you know already), so I have no one to borrow the demo from. I just drool over the screenshots/updates that I manage to find. Sigh....
