i will be away for an unknown time. i couple of points i'd like to leave.

- i never felt like i belonged here
- i never felt like i had the respect of my peers
- i never felt like i was taken seriously (that was mostly my fault)
- may you all be filled with joy for the rest of your lives.
- maybe ill be back if another armored core game hits the psp.
- monster hunter is overrated if you have no one to play with
- the ratio of admins to active members is unbalanced
- i felt as if you could be here a week and become an admin
- the league is way to serious and full of wholes and so are the tourneys.
- tourneys should be held by someone not entered in the tourney.
- live and let live
- love the time i had here.

Carnage, I am sorry that you feel that way. I felt that since we were a pretty small community, we were all fairly close, but I suppose since I was a bit busy I neglected some of the other members (you not being the only one).

I valued you being a member here, and still do, because your jokes were often funny and I did enjoy reading what little we saw of your fic.

You definitely belong here, and are always welcome to join the competitions. It's just, I think some people didn't notice since you weren't in the league and all. But, in the occurances that you entered tourneys, Axel and whatever else creations did pretty well. It placed 2nd in the biped tourney, and in the NL tourney it beat anime's Big Red. Not an easy feat.

And, about the admin thing; it's probably my fault that you feel that way. Although, as Laeq mentioned he will be without internet for a while, and for that time I guess there has to be another admin around to take care of things.

True, the competitions are serious and I myself have had that opinion for a while as well; most create to win and don't build for fun/ innovative designs.

But, that is what we are hoping to fix with the new league. A more balanced competition with emphasis on weaker parts. Before you consider leaving, check out what we are doing by reading the new league rules.

Forgive the competitiveness and please try to trust the tourney hosts; I think they are responsible enough not to mix things in their favor.

Carnage, you have my respect for even sticking around here for this long; I don't think anyone here has a negative opinion of you.

Carnage, it is truly sad for me to hear that you will be leaving so soon.

I would first like to say that your presence created a much friendlier atmosphere for us all, and I am sure many would agree. You were one of the more active members here and the livelihood of our board depends on people who are frequently active and visit the board. I definitely believe that you belong here and that we all respect your being here. There may've been times when certain messages or situations have rubbed you the wrong way because it is difficult for us to express ourselves fully over the internet; jokes may be taken as offenses, and serious messages may be taken as jokes. I hope that those instances have not happened to you many times, and I apologize for my possible participation in any of them.

As for your disappointment and problems with the "system" and the way the competitions are held, I understand your opinions completely. However, I do think that it is important for us to trust each other because online competitions, especially for a game that depends solely on parts and numbers, requires us to believe in the integrity of EVERYONE who is involved. I also wish that there's a more efficient and "corruption-proof" way to do things, but with AC:FF, I believe that it's difficult no matter what.

I would also like to personally apologize for being an extremely competitive and obnoxious person. There is not a doubt that some of the posts I've made may be provocative and made competitions more serious than they should be. I may've even gone too far with the "chiken wang" joke and not notice it.

Regarding the "admin" and "moderator" positions - I believe that we're not about superiority or "ranks" here. Although that's what should be preached and be in effect, I know that things may often seem to be quite the contrary. For me, I wanted to be a mod not because of the title, and not because I want to trample over "lesser members," but because I want to "officially" announce that I will devote time to this board. It may've been conceited of me to do so, but I mean, the title comes second.

Again, Carnage, it sucks that you want to leave, especially under these circumstances and for the reasons you listed. I loved having you here and it'll suck to not see "LED COSBY" on the bottom of the page anymore.

I agree a little, but it's not that far over-rated. It takes a huge amount of time.

Well Shear was admin because he started the whole tourney thing me and Dark were made mods because we were in the tourneys as long as shear. Jacques became a mod because he had time, energy, and dedication. I have no idea how dark became an Admin since I wasn't there at the time. As far as main staff goes that's fine, I do think we have too many league mods though...

I understand but it becomes a problem when you only have 5-8 entrants and you need to take one out to do battles. I don't think anyone should do battles involving thier own ACs in tournys.
