I thought it might be convenient to have a thread on this, as shear has suggested. So, post any league q's you might have over here. www.freewebs.com/shear_x000/ - Link to homepage due to request.

Alright, so now its my question.
With the monkey, gorilla, and zebra mentality that would mean that the Cobra II VS Static match gets priority over Cobra II VS Deadlock?
Because Cobra's position only needs to be defended when challenged by Static... I think...

that would be correct magus. I'll handly the challenges when one is trying to move from one league to the next. That means you don't have to worry about doing static and cobra's battle.
I'll do it.

I got a question for shear also:
Does the challegner or the defender get to take the grid one spot for the stage? I understand that some people may be concerned about the grid spots because some may've chosen a certain stage for their AC to have an advantage in a certain grid position. Like Vina Parking, for example, Grid 1 clearly has an advantage (at least in my opinion).

I don't know why I didn't think of this before,
How about you not only chose your defending stage you also chose the Grid you start at?
Like this
AC Name: DG-VIII Defending Stage: Frontier: Azoy Desert: Grid2
So? What do you think?
EDIT: Sorry I just remembered it said I'm not aloud to post here under the Announcements description, sorry about that, got confused by another post that said to ask questions here, sorry again

This is indeed the place to ask questions. I think it is okay to post, since it is on the news/updates of every section, not just the announcements.

how much is it to enter a totally new AC into the league? the price of a complete overhaul? or free?

You can enter a new AC into the league at any time, but the limit is 3 so if you are already at the limit you'd have to replace one.
A complete overhaul is just the combined costs, I think.
Anyway, I believe its in the updated rules...

Overhaul -Costs 33500 (Shear Drop it to 30 000 ie a round Number) +Keep Position In League
New Entry -Start At Bottom of Ladder +Free if you have less that three ACs, 7000 to remove and old one to create space

oh yay, and for favorite stage, if you never posted one... would that require C to change or add?

Favorite stages, if you haven't posted them yet, are free of charge. However, if you want to change it after, there's a hefty price.

I think I know the answer but Could I drop Ominia for 7000 and remake her using the same name and paint? She would only be keeping 3 parts and since its on the bottom anyway its probably not going to get very far until my other 2 ACs start pushing others down to fight with.
Otherwise I have to wait until I get 25000 to fix her. . . 28000 if you charge for part removal like a part change.

Wait a sec though, since Ancient Red is a copy of an AC shouldn't the design HAVE to be modded, even a little, so it doesn't resemble BlueEyes?

Speaking of which, I'm basically a sitting duck until Rex's battle is finished...
Gotta move up the ranks.

Shear says he hasn't had any time lately to do the matches (you guys might know already). That is why I did the Cobra II v. Deadlock match for him in the omega group. I'm pretty sure he'll let you guys do those inter-bracket battles, I'm speaking of TS and Magus, if you guys just ask. Or, if you guys are busy as well, I can ask shear and do them for you.

Heh...there's my stupid, spammer, 'always bored' and complaining side, and then there's my dedicated, workaholic side. I'm really glad that I'm able to be a part of the tourney and all; that's why I'm doing a lot of things and trying to get myself involved as much as possible.
Edit: Thanks for the support.
