You can challenge anyone (though you may want to try rainmaker, since he made the topic), and you can do it anytime from now, but preferably when I'm done the remaining two matches.

tightasianpilot4, check out the current still league. There are some very good ACs, you aren't limited to my AC(s) only.

Wow, Barda is everywhere these days. The infamous speedy biped has built up quite a reputation after it's win in the Official AI tournament. It's been known as an AC that wins with style, and now O-G is back with a vengeance in a match VS Rainmaker's NINE, so far undefeated (overall). Let the games begin. Barda (O-G) VS NINE (rainmaker) Match 1 (Fros Region) Grid 1: Barda Grid 2: NINE Fros Region is a place known for its range, and as such, both ACs were somewhat at a disadvantage because they were further apart from each other. NINE resolved the problems by using harpy shots as bait while moving into bazooka range. Barda attempted valiantly to get into close range, but it's shots just weren't landing enough to do any severe damage. 31 seconds into the match everything was over, and it ended up being largely one-sided. Length: 0m31s Grid 1 Final AP: 0 Grid 2 Final AP: 5722 Winner: NINE Match 2 (Igol Island) Grid 1: Barda Grid 2: NINE The narrow area of Igol Island bellied it's mid-range nature. Barda was able to hold its own weight a couple times but NINE just cleverly used the shelters around the arena to hide itself. To further it's defense strategy, the hohshi ecm maker made double sure that few hits landed on its tough hide. Succumbing to the evil harpies of doom, as well as the additional bazooka firepower, Barda was quickly brought down under a mass of fire. Length: 0m36s Grid 1 Final AP: 0 Grid 2 Final AP: 3673 Winner: NINE Match 3 (Hollow Arena) Grid 1: Barda Grid 2: NINE Barda, seemingly angry with it's previous defeats, was vicious in this match; being the one to start off the fireworks. Immediately, NINE took heavy damage after a close up grenade/sawa combo. At close range it was not surprising that its dual weapons dished out massive pwnage. NINE's long range weapons could no longer be in effect and it felt the full, raw power of the opponent's wrath. To sum it, everything was up close and personal here and Barda personally gave NINE's a humiliating defeat. Length: 0m28s Grid 1 Final AP: 2984 Grid 2 Final AP: 0 Winner: Barda OVERALL WINNER: NINE (2/3) And again, NINE chalks up another win on it's winning streak due to the hohshi advantage. It seems to suffer defeat in close range arenas. Will an AC rise up to take advantage of this? Tune in next time in: THE EXHIBITION MATCH.

I grieve for Barda's unfortunate loss.
bah, NINE has been winning too much. I'm going to submit my "could've been" Blue Eyes and V2 killer when I get home (might be like...1 or 2 in the morning, which translates to Dark's...3 AM?. If this is a battle of the Hohoshi...I would like to say "ho ho ho!" to that!

These loads of exhibition match can be quite a burden... I really appreciate you taking the time to host them as I am sure you are very busy as well. If this thread stirs enough commotion, I am sure the other Staffs will step in to help out as always. *bow
And why are you guys coming after NINE... come on, I am on vacation atm. I made the thread but by no mean implies you HAVE to challenge me only. Please challenge everyone amongs the community, it's more interesting that way.
How many battle requests are left until Jacques' request, Dark?
I know there are a couple that haven't been run yet. Anyway, if you can -- give me a 2 day heads up when my team is going against Jacques'. I have revisions that I have been thinking about using -- so the outcome is less predictable.

There's only one real request left, since nobody else has specfiied ACs, only made "challenges".
Once I see I solid AC or know where that AC is then I put it in the line.

Welcome back to the EXHIBITION MATCH, on today's show we've got another volunteer stepping up to go toe-to-toe with the ferocious brother of Cerberus, NINE. They call him Sigma, and he's supposedly an ace in his homeland (and looks a lot like Bren's Sforzato, by the way). Today's episode is appropriately titled: THE BATTLE OF THE BRENS (*cough*) Sigma (moonkidoodles) VS NINE (rainmaker) Match 1 (Grand Arena) Grid 1: Sigma Grid 2: NINE Fans in the stadium were confused about which architect to cheer on, seeing as they were both defined as ACs of “Bren”. Nonetheless, the skill of these two combatants couldn't be any more different. Sforz- er, Sigma, took a defensive approach by floating around the arena while firing griffon and sniper shots at NINE. NINE's harpies took the arena, shooting at Sigma here and there, combined with the effective might of micro missile extensions and the infamous 5BP bazooka. Fortunately, Sigma was prepared for this type of attack and deployed it's decoy insides.
There was about a 2000ap difference between the opponents but both seemed to put on a pretty decent fight. Eventually, though, Sigma's energy drained proved to be too much and NINE effectively gained a crushing lead. The end-battle ended without it getting a scratch. Length: 0m22s Grid 1 Final AP: 0 Grid 2 Final AP: 5135 Winner: NINE Match 2 (Rawdy Hangar) Grid 1: Sigma Grid 2: NINE The infamous Rawdy Hangar.... being infamous... because it's not a place where ACs fight much. Nonetheless, it proved interesting for the opposing Brens because they had a very interesting, obstacle-filled environment to work with. Sigma's approach was very direct from the beginning, easily tracking down it's foe and using it's sniper weapons to it's advantage. NINE could barely fight back since there were so many obstacles in the way, so it settled with letting the harpies do the work for it.
Unfortunately, when it came right down to it, the harpies were able to do massive damage while neither opponent was even close to the other. The ships in the battleground proved to be Sigma's true enemy in this match, because the damage it dealt was close to nothing for a good chunk of the battle.
They managed to get into close quarters for the last few seconds of the match, but Sigma was already too weakened to handle the bazooka wrath of NINE. Length: 0m59s Grid 1 Final AP: 0 Grid 2 Final AP: 6615 Winner: NINE Match 3 (Hollow Arena) Grid 1: Sigma Grid 2: NINE The random match seems to like the Hollow Arena, often chosen as the preferred deathbed to those that fell to NINE. Nonetheless, it's not to say that this match was dull.... because quite frankly it was less than dull. Sigma showcased good dodging maneuvers as it managed to stay away from the harpy attacks, but head to head it was a complete different story. Under the conditions of the small arena they were forced to get into a power struggle with their hand weapons, and, not surprising the 5BP proved more powerful. NINE countered every griffon and sniper shot with stride and crippled Sigma's AC in a few seconds, demonstrating to it the meaning of power. Length: 0m21s Grid 1 Final AP: 0 Grid 2 Final AP: 6478 Winner: NINE OVERALL WINNER: NINE (3/3) And so... in an-ever-so amazing match NINE comes out on top again. A comment from Dark: Dark: Stop challenging NINE to these repetitive matches, or else build to beat it! And moonki, you still had two blocks left in your AI capacity. I didnt fill it to stay true to original post, but you may want to consider doing so. *Ahem* He was just joking as usual, you know. NEXT EPISODE: A terrifying match.... NINE VS shotdownmuse's Fenrir. /conclude episode 6

O-G...I named this one OVERKILL for a reason.
Again...it was made for the sole purpose of battling V2 and Blue Eyes back in the day. bz-OVERKILL was basically the wildly editted version of Deadlock (almost an overhaul...) that I did not bother to do because I wanted to see how rain and anime's "rivalry" would play out. Many of the AC's submitted for the exhibition may be able to defeat this AC, so I won't be surprised. I did field tests with bz and FUBU and at close range, bz usually won because your AC often prefers to stay on foot (gets out-turned and stunned by the SELENA shots). But from a range, FUBU's storm of shells were able to decimate bz-OVERKILL to a certain point.
Anyway, here it is.
AC Name: bz-OVERKILL
Head: H09-SPIDER tuning: 0,0,1,0,9 Core: C05-SELENA tuning: 0,1,0,9,0 Arms: CR-WA69BZ Legs: CR-LH96FA tuning: 0,1,3,6,0 Booster: B07-GULL2 tuning: 1,3,6 FCS: MF03-VOLUTE2 Generator: GUNDARI tuning: 3,7,0 Radiator: RAGORA tuning: 0,1,9 Inside: CR-I84RN Extension: CR-E82SS2 Back Unit R: WB28R-SIREN4 Back Unit L: MAGORAGA Arm Unit R: -Remove Equipment- Arm Unit L: -Remove Equipment- Hangar Unit R: -Remove Equipment- Hangar Unit L: -Remove Equipment- ========== O01-AMINO CR-O69ES CR-O79L+ O03-CODON O06-PHAGE KANGI ========== -15,16,14,-12,-16,16 ========== 5,5,0,10,9,6,10,10,10,8 ========== 0 sec: MAA-2 30 sec: MAA-2 60 sec: MAA-2 90 sec: -None- 120 sec: -None- 150 sec: -None- ==========
Thanks for putting your time into these matches, Dark.
