Grid 1: Blue Eyes
Grid 2: Cerberus V2
Following Tamer's footsteps, the sky-blue lizard named Blue Eyes made its way to the LPM Furnace to face the mighty hound, Cerberus V2. Every since its loss to Tamer, Cerberus had been undergoing intense training at LPM Furnace to learn how to maximize the use of the furnace as well as the symmetrical terrain to its utmost advantage. As it stood on the opposite side of the huge furnace, Cerberus visualized its opponent on the other side and already had its two bazookas pointed straight toward Blue Eyes. Waiting for the announcer's signal, the mighty blue serpent on across from V2 stretched out its four legs in preparation for the masterful circular strategy that it is famous for and must employ for the victory.
"Ready...GO!!"
Blue Eyes sprang up in an instant and took a magnificent leap towards the giant furnace to close in on the red hound on the other side. Cerberus V2 jumped in place, readying itself to counter Blue Eyes's aggressive initiative. Before Cerberus can take another breath, Blue Eyes dashed clear from the cover of the furnace, straight at Cerberus's face.
"Tsk," the lips on the red hound curved upward slightly and confidently, as V2 unloaded two bazooka shots at the approaching lizard. Although both of them hit dead-on, Blue Eyes did not stop charging; it only grew fiercer, and within half a second retaliated with a napalm rocket and grenade launcher round, setting V2 ablaze. V2's high-end R02 cooling system quickly resolved the problem, and with the worry immediately extinguished, Cerberus made a sharp left turn to lock on to Blue Eyes, who had just taken a bold strafe in hopes to attack Cerberus from the rear.
"I will NOT make the same mistake again, V2!" Blue Eyes declared proudly, as it successfully jolted behind Cerberus and landed yet another grenade launcher round, followed by a stream of sylph and solid EO shots.
"But you seemed to have forgotten what the Codon optional part does for me," V2 smirked, backing away from the furnace and towards the grand dragon. Cerberus V2 turned around in the blink of an eye and fired out a shining Hohoshi, as well as another pair of bazooka shots at Blue Eyes. It then made its way toward the red wall.
Blue Eyes had just about enough already, although the two were only seconds into the match. "My double Sirens will lure those ECM waves of yours uselesssss," it hissed. But as Blue Eyes prepared for another assualt at the retreating V2, it became wrapped up in the blues waves that it has always dreaded. The next two grenade launcher shots that it fired blasted out without a proper lock-on, and only took chunks of metal off of the ceiling, instead of V2's armor. "Argh, should've borrowed Tamer's Siren3's," Blue Eyes grunted, as V2 let out more pairs of bazooka shots at the disoriented dragon, taking a huge AP lead. "I-WILL-NOT-LOSE -AGAIN!!" the blue beast roared, and like lightning boosted its massive body within inches of V2's. Blue Eyes smiled as it became able to lock onto V2 once again, and immediately punished its opponent with more napalm rockets and grenade launcher shells.
The AP's of the two rival quad-legs neared each other as Blue Eyes's number of successful attacks outnumbered V2's, despite having the presence of a Hohoshi on the field. The AP count on both of the AC's radars shot down toward 2000 within seconds, and both AC's abandoned their manuevering tactics and went on an all-out shooting spree. Blues Eyes was determined to topple the blood-tainted hound that it has despised for so long, but Cerberus V2 was just as determined to not take home another loss on its record. V2 then barked out a smart-mouthed comment.
"By merely calculating the total attack power that our weapons provide us, it seems that I have an unfair firepower advantage over you! You should accept the fact that I was going to win all along, Blue Eyes!" Cerberus made a series of impressive maneuvers, even though it was smothered in flames and saw its energy decreasing. It had been able to steadily hit Blue Eyes with its massive bazookas, and seized Blue Eye's near-rigid landing to turn, back up, and let loose another series of armor-piercing shells. Blue Eyes screamed in agonizing pain as it shot out a final fiery blast at Cerberus V2's face after receiving two deadly blows.
"It's a h-....bzzz...." Blue Eyes turned silent.
Cerberus V2 approached its motionless opponent, dropped its WH05BP, and held out its hand to help the defeated dragon back onto its feet. "Until next time," Cerberus V2 said, lunging out of sight.

Cerberus V2's victory earns Rainmaker 2300 cd. 300 was awarded for style because V2 was able to turn like a pro and counter Blue Eyes's attempts to boost behind it. The Hohoshi's again, worked wonders here, and bailed V2 out in many cases during the match. But, again, more props should be given to the impressive turning and accuracy that V2 was able to achieve during this match. Cerberus V2 remains in second place.
Blue Eyes's loss earns Animesou 1150. 400 style points were awarded because Blue Eyes was SO close! The dual Siren's served Blue Eyes exceptionally well, but the Hohoshi was still able to constrict Blue Eyes with ECM waves. But, despite that fact, the newly-modded Blue Eyes proved to be a master of LPM's terrain, and was able to use its newly-gained speed to its advantage. But, the lizard legs dramatically reduced Blue Eyes's defense, or so it seems, because V2's bazooka shots seemed to have been especially damaging this time around.
