Here you go, Rainmaker. I'll be doing the other Omega battle before I do the V2 v. Tamer after this one, so sit tight. Thanks.
Stage: Grand Arena
Grid 1: Blue Eyes
Grid 2: Cerberus
The battle of two very similar Hohoshi users...one who sacrificed defense for increased speed and ECM, and the other equipped with two heavy bazookas and heavier armor. The battle proved to be not just an ordinary match of who had the higher ECM, but also one that put much stress on firepower, defense, and AI.
The battle began with the two AC's adopting sniper-esque tactics, backing away from each other and then moving counter-clockwise in a circle. Although Blue Eyes has the higher speed, Cerberus was able to keep up with its boosting, and the two seemingly moved around the circle at opposite poles. Both AC's, within seconds of the match, unleashed a Hohoshi, but neither AC seem to be fazed. Cerberus, especially, tore down Blue Eyes's AP with its dual bazookas, as Blue Eyes countered the assault with its 81G and WH05BP, without causing as much damage, because Cerberus had the higher defense. The two continued to move in an invisible orbit while shooting at each other.
Blue Eyes had trouble early in the beginning with Cerberus's Hohoshi, even though it came prepared with dual Siren's. It's grenade and bazooka shots flew past Cerberus without doing any damage, and Blue Eyes seemed to be disoriented for a few critical seconds, which allowed Cerberus to take a 2000+ AP lead. The collective shock that Blue Eyes received from Cerberus's bazooka blasts also had lasting effects, as it became unable to continue its circular movements, taking a stop to rest its feet. This allowed Cerberus to land more bazooka shots at it.
Suddenly, things went dry for Cerberus, as it became completely unable to lock onto Blue Eyes. Its bazooka shots flew all over the place, except to Blue Eyes's armor. Blue Eyes, however, finally got its lock back on Cerberus and began to punish it with its two heavy weapons, closing in the AP gap that was previously set. The battle started to get real close, as both AC's AP began to near 4000.
What would soon happen proved to be a repeat of the previous battle between these two legendary AC's, as the Hohoshi's effect seemingly wore off even though each AC had one on the field, and the two rivals began an all out shooting spree. The circular movement was abandoned by both AC's, and both AC's began to strafe in unison in the same direction, from a distance, while relentlessly firing at each other. The outcome of this proved to be predictable, as Cerberus's attack power and higher defense allowed it to come through. Blue Eyes has been defeated again.
Length: 26s

Grid 2 Final AP: 3071
