Stage: Dimcage Town
Grid 1: Volt
Grid 2: Genocide
The nine matches proved to be one where the holder of the Hohoshi, again, fought with a clear advantage, although the Sayama user did not do so bad itself. The nine matches were not only affected by inside parts, but the stats of each AC also played a particularly important role in determining the winner of this matchup. Volt had the defense advantage, although it lacked speed, but the expansive range of Dimcage Town didn't exactly allow Genocide to take advantage of its higher boost power. Instead, Genocide suffered in all of its matches with low ECM, causing it to lose its aim early in many of its matches. However, Genocide did not disappoint, as its dual bazookas were always able to connect and deal consistent damage when it had a lock on Volt.
Many of Volt's victories were won with the AC in red AP zone. Unfortunately, even though Genocide was capable to dealing damage to Volt, Volt's higher defense and number of successful shots, paired with the Hohoshi, prevailed.
Grid 1 Wins: 6
Grid 2 Wins: 3
Winner: Volt
Both AC's stay in their respective positions.
Tailsnake earns 1150 cd. Genocide came close in nearly every battle that it fought against Volt, and showed that even though the Hohoshi hindered its performance for a good length of the match, it's still able to impress with its dual bazookas.
Anklbreaker earns 2100 cd. The Hohoshi, I felt, was largely responsible for Volt's win, because Genocide always came close in terms of AP even though Volt has that inside part. But, nevertheless, Volt was able to win 4 consecutive matches in the same fashion, showing that it had a solid and consistent strategy.
