Grid 1 (Defender): Serpent- Sinner
Grid 2 (Challenger): Volt- anklbreaker
A gentle breeze wafted throughout the sands of the Azoy Desert, as two metal warriors prepared for a battle of pride and honor. Standing out in the open was the thunderbolt master, Volt, who was at a severe disadvantage on the unfamiliar terrain. The opponent was out of sight, far off in the distance behind the protective cover of a grainy blanket... but finally, there came the voice of the announcer…
“READY…GO!!”
Suddenly, the pink skinned Serpent leapt towards its opponent, hissing viciously as it unleashed a flurry of bazooka blows. Volt stood its ground with impressive stability, holding off the shots while unveiling an equally impressive arsenal. Each collision met with a tremor that shook the very ground that they walked on; yet neither showed any signs of backing down. One would believe they stood on equally footing in terms of raw power and defense; but that all changed with a simple display message:
“Grid 1 output down”
Then, it became apparent that Volt’s combo of overheating and vs. ECM disruptions was taking a toll on the Serpent’s abilities. Each hot, searing grenade explosion met with dire effects on its delicate skin; and it wasn’t long before it became nothing more than another cooked meal for the Scarabs.
