Grid 1 (Challenger): Volt- anklbreaker22
Grid 2 (Defender): Static- anklbreaker22
[glow=green,2,300]Making quite a bold move, the AC Volt demanded a rematch with its brother Static without any modifications. Apparently, Team Energy was convinced that it's star AC would pull through the 2nd time around; but the competition wasn't exactly the laid back type.
Sporting two long range energy rifles on its arms, the garum and karasawa, and two heavy duty back wepaons, Static looked like a menacing kill machine as it loomed in the distance of the snowy Fros Region. However, something about Volt was different; it appeared hardened from its prior battle.
The match began in short, Volt being a little more cautious and firing off grenades in the air. Static's skylla was activated, but somehow at long range its targetting ability was a little more lacking; thus, few shots connected.
Nonetheless, Static fought on with fierce determination, lagging behind by about 2000ap. Volt's hohshi finally took hold its opponents targetting system, inflicting Static with ECM errors. The biped continued its strong combo of bazooka and grenade rounds.
One could tell that the end was near when Volt was forced to switch to its hanger unit. The tiny cr-wh89gl proved to be devasting, heating up Static until its demise.
The last thing it saw was the grenade explode in a fiery rage in front of it's eyes, then everything vanished...

Credit Rewards/Comments:
- It's interesting, the long range proved to be Volt's absolute advantage in this battle. It was finally able to use hohshi and jumping tactics at maximum efficiency.
- Volt gains anklbreaker 2000cred for AP remaining, as well as 300style points for gaining revenge at Static using long range to its advantage, and finishing it off with a hanger unit (was cool).
- Static gets the 750cred minimum, no style points unfortunately. A large number of shots missed.
- No pics because you've already seen a battle between the two...
