Grid 1 (Challenger): Hellish- Tailsnake
Grid 2 (Defender): l o x- nastradamatic
Nastradamatic’s green wonder made a splash entrance in this match. An AC with a slew of unorthodox parts, l o x wowed the audience with its unique, yet impressive looking build.
The matched commenced as the announcer shouted “GO!!!” over the loud speakers of the confined, dark arena. Hellish established ground with its usual maneuvers, using a high-powered machine gun to converge with the nichirin attacks. L o x stepped in for the offensive, but failed to pursue its tricky, quick-hovering opponent. It could only jump in vain as Hellish ran circles all around it.
A kamikaze AC at heart, Hellish’ all-out attack AI really showed in this battle. Getting a rear advantage over the opponent using the ATA-2 op chip, it lit the AC called l o x aflame, upholding a machine gun barrage in the process.
After a bit of fumbling, l o x was finally able to get a solid target on the yellow one. Lobbing a powerful grenade at the opponent, Hellish’s heat level went through the roof, blazing as it became the epicenter of an enormous fiery explosion.
Now attempting to counter, Hellish unleashed EO attacks while spinning around with an ever-so deadly nichirin, but l o x just laughed and launched yet another grenade at it; this time followed by a deadly gorgon blast.
That, however, proved to be the greatest moment of nastradamatic’s AC… and perhaps the last. The napalms were discharged at a rate too precipitous to foresee. An evil grin formed on Hellish’ steel face as it watched its opponent turn around slowly, dumbfounded, as it was assaulted on the left side with a medley of weapons.
The last part of the match depicted the two ACs skirmishing in short bursts, taking little bits of damage at a time. L o x’s grenade-gorgon combo was pitted against the frequency of Hellish’s flaming influxes.
All the while, maneuverability played a key role in Hellish’s success. Now getting behind the opponent in a notion similar to its battle with Orphan, Hellish readied its nichirin for dramatic effect.
Everything seemed to go in slow motion as l o x twisted around, now fully aware of the presence behind it. And then…
FWWWWOOOOSSSHHH!!
The inferno was unleashed from its tiny nozzle; the flares looking like the gates of Hell themselves. The arena flared vividly as the blazes got more intense… ending unceremoniously with a scream of the utmost pain.
…When everything was over, all that was left of l o x was a tiny green puddle. Living off experience; that name no longer applied.

- People need to post their favorite stages so that Hellish doesn’t get that advantage in the hollow arena

- L o x gets the 750cd min, 50 for style just because it was able to hold on for quite a while.
- Hellish gets the full 2000cd for AP remaining, and another 300style for consistent outmaneuvering and impressive weapon combos/combined with kamikaze strategy.
- Bad luck for l o x, just noticed the #13 ranking.
