Dark's Notes- Well I got some time off over the long weekend, so I'm finally completing these battles. Enjoy.
Battleground: Azoy Desert
Rank 7 Battle
Grid 1: Hellish- Tailsnake
Grid 2: Serpent II- Sinner
Longtime rivals Tailsnake and Sinner were at it again, this time in a match between Hellish and Serpent II. The match witnessed here today was one of the highest calibur; two superbly crafted ACs going one on one, mano-a-mano.
Hellish hovered silently yet swiftly towards its biped foe, maneuvering like a silent assassin. Luckily, Serpent's eyes were very keen and sensitive, quickly locking onto the opponent. In a single energetic leap, it boosted out of the sand firing dual 5BP shots at the opponent.
The onslaught only continued as Sinner's AC stepped into close range to go toe-to-toe with Hellish. Hellish attempted to raise its nichirin but couldn't spray long enough to do any damage, thanks to Serpent II's jumping strategy.
The onscreen message now read "Grid 2 is keeping the opponent at bay". And oh, how true that was. Serpent was on a roll with the bazooka and EO attacks, having a lead of nearly 5000ap over the lightly armored Hellish.
The count was now 1810 to 6831, respectively. Hellish zoomed back a bit for a tactical retreat, shooting high powered MG bullets at the back of the Serpent. Serpent's lightning-fast reflexes notified it of this stealthy assault, whipping around quickly for a 5HP counter.
At this point, the battle was over before you could even blink. Serpent lashed it's enormous tail at Hellish, who went flying a few meters before crashing motionless into the sand.
Length: 0m18s
Grid 1 Final AP: 0
Grid 2 Final AP: 5896
Winner: Serpent II
Credit Rewards/Comments:
- This is Hellish's first loss, I think. I sense a pattern here...
- I find it funny (and a bit ironic) that Tailsnake's main contenders are snake-themed ACs.
- Serpent II gets 2000cd for AP remaining, another 50cd for tracking down the opponent well and overcoming it with sheer power. Good job avoiding the nichirin too.
- Hellish gets 750cd min.
