Stage: (random) Dewlite City
Grid 1: Rex Final
Grid 2: AEfinity
Dewlite City was a shooting range for these energy weapon-wielding tanks. Rex Final, infamous for its Karasawa+Geryon2 combination, took on AEfinity, which also sported a Geryon2, but had one Karasawa on each hand.
The battle was an astounding quickdraw, with huge laser beams fired relentlessly back and forth. Both tanks tried their best to evade from each other's deadly rays, but it seems that Rex Final was able to be more accurate even though it was frantically strafing left and right. Rex's Geryon2 and Karasawa was fired in perfect harmony each time, taking a large amount of AP from AEfinity with each successful hit. AEfinity did not back down though, because it had energy weapons of its own, and retaliated with a barrage of quick Karasawa shots at its enemy tank.
The AP's of both AC depleted in near unison, but Rex's higher initial AP and defense pulled through, for it gained and exploited this advantage, allowing it to always have a higher AP than AEfinity. This proved to be disastrous for AEfinity, for Rex Final got the upper hand towards the end of the quickdraw and knocked a lot of AEfinity's Karasawa shots in the air with its Geryon2. AEfinity tried its best to stay close in AP, but the damage that its dual Krsw's dealt just could not match that of Rex Final's Geryon2 and Krsw. The audience marvelling at this tremendous show of sheer power can't help but feel that AEfinity's failure to use its Geryon2 contributed to its demise.
Length: 16s
Grid 1 Final AP: 3207
Grid 2 Final AP: 0
Winner: Rex Final
Rex Final's victory earns Magus 2400. No explanation is necessary for the 400 style points that Rex Final deserves to receive for its ferocious offensive capabilities. Congratulations, Magus, Rex has advanced to the Gamma League!
AEfinity's loss earns darknj 1050. 300 was awarded for style because the tank was able to hold out with its Karasawa for quite sometime, despite having lower defense, AP, and overall attack power than its opponent. AEfinity drops to rank 26, and has entered the Beta1 League. Word of advice - I really think that you should take off a laser weapon from your tank, seeing as three didn't do AEfinity much good, because the Geryon2 was not used. But, if you insist on having the Geryon2 and dual Krsw's, then you must program the AI to use all three efficiently (which I find a difficult task to do).
