I don't think it's fake...since it seems to be the official site, or at least has an affiliation with it. (I've never been on the official AC site...if there ever was one).
Anyway, I'm going to look at the bright side and predict another AC game coming out for the PSP. Since AC:FF went into greatest hits status in Japan (even though it may not mean much, because almost all the DS games there sell like "greatest hits") right next to games like Lumines and Hot Shots Golf, I think From would to try to push the AC franchise further into the portable, since it's got a steady history with PS and PS2.

I think they'll announce more info for AC4 as well as another PSP armoured Core game (likely based on Last Raven, maybe a last raven port)

with how much hype this simple countdown will build up, im looking for a new TYPE of AC engine that will be implemented on the PSP
some kinda of roleplaying maybe? or it may be a totally new franchise branch of the game, and may end up being like Chromehounds with the "team of machines in a war" feel with each machine playing a certain role on the team (ex. sniper,captain,scout, etc.)
Edit: i have a VERY funny feeling that this site is actually very old, look at the dates on the site....1997-2005, so wouldn't that mean the site was established before 2006?
and if so someone revived the site while doing a google search and BAM! everyone thinks its something huge lol
Edit2: ACK! i moved alil bit surther into the site using my amazing question mark reading skills(lol...) and they have a link to something called RCO, which stands for Raven's Central Office, and from what i can tell its like a big get together in Asia(not sure what country) and they do battles in a diff way or something(kinda looks like a D&D gone AC)
but anyway, the last get together this site has been updated with was in 2004 O.o
this site may be VERY old, so im not sure if this is something to get too excited about
Edit3: i've also found that all the newest sews updates and dates of get togethers etc. are all in the year 2005, nothing mentioning 2006

Why else would they have a countdown?
Edit- And yeah, aside from new elements I hope they keep/make an improved AI system so that we can have fresh competition.

looks like it was countdown to the redesign of the site. On the bright side AC4 is coming out that same month as PS3 is released (no date for the 360 version yet).

im probably going for the 360 over here, the only reason i have a PS2 is because of AC, so if they make their games for 360 as well as PS3, im going with the 360, because then illl be able to rock out on Halo 3 AND AC4 when they come out lol
