Rex Final readied its giant laser weapons at AEther, whose fingers were itching to launch a few armor-piercing rockets into Rex's armor. Rex Final examined the metal scraps that were left by its recent opponent, waiting to blow the new enemy into smithereens.
"Ready...GO!!"
Rex Final chuckled and fired round after round of Karasawa and Geryon2 two shots with terrifying speed and accuracy. AEther was strafing in a circular motion, and advanced little, trying to dodge Rex's attacks. Rex, seeing AEther already on the defensive, closed in on it and started to try to burn it up by firing its napalm rockets. Perfect hits. AEther, stunned by the massive and quickness of each shot, did not give up, and began to charge towards the veteran tank, swiftly dodging the laser shots and boosting from side to side. Rex became more tense when AEther fired shot after shot of rockets and machine gun shells at Rex's arms, knocking off its Karasawa's aim. Rex's AP finally began to decline at a dangerous rate, but the tank is considered a veteran for a reason. Still with much AP left, Rex launched a napalm rocket and a Geryon2 shot straight at AEther's right side, stopping AEther's assualt, which had just begun. AEther, running short of energy and covered in flames, could only stand and take Rex's final shots. AEther saw a brilliant beam of bright green and blue right in front of its eyes, and then everything turned black.

Rex Final's victory earns Magus 2200 points, 200 for style because Rex can fire at such accuracy and speed, and the MOD-1 chip only makes it more devastating for a biped with low defense. 50% of the 200 is awarded because blue+green beams look pretty (jk). Rex advances to rank 26.
AEther's loss earns darknj 1050 points, 750 min. and 300 for style because it was able to dodge quite a number of Rex's shots, and also showed me that an AC with rockets DO have potential to deal substantial damage to its opponents, despite the manual-aim. AEther drops to rank 27.
