Stage: Vina Parking
Grid 1: DG-VIII (AtrumCustodis) Grid 2: Barda (Oonga-Boonga!!)
Vina Parking is Barda's paradise, allowing it to dodge nearly all of DG-VIII's attacks initially to give it an advantage. Although DG-VIII has two deadly back weapons: the Skylla and a 3000+ attack grenade launcher, it only fired into the pillars, as Barda masterfully OB-ed from side to side to evade the huge Skylla blasts, especially, since that was DG-VIII more-often fired weapon. Barda was a pro with its grenade launcher and Karasawa, almost never missing, and chipped DG-VIII's AP at a devastating rate, sealing DG's fate early on.
Length: 27s Grid 1 Final AP: 0 Grid 2 Final AP: 6564 Winner: Barda
Barda's victory earns Oonga-Boonga 2400 points and remains at rank 33. It gains 400 style points because Barda was especially impressive here, hitting DG with almost every shot it fired, and OB-ing like a pro around pillars to dodge the majority of DG's attacks. Very impressive display, uxnr.
DG-VIII's loss earns AtrumCustodis 950 points and remians at rank 34. It gains 200 style points because it never slowed down its rate of fire at Barda, and was able to keep track with Barda's movement the whole time. It was the pillars that really prevented it from being able to hit Barda, as the Skylla blasts are way too big for this map to squeeze past the pillars. I suggest that you, Atrum, remove one of the back units on this tanks, preferrably the grenade launcher, because energy weapons on tank are almost a must.

. . . I'm surprised not only that my tank did so poorly but by the fact the pillars were able to take the abuse and still be standing . . .
lol j/k
. . . not really . . .

Haha, if only the environments were more realistic and can get damaged in real time, then it would make the battles a h*ll of a lot more interesting.

If environments were realistic, meaning everything could be shot through, Railguns (underused) would just smash through everything =P

Haha, dude, the LX will just blow up half the stage. And what about that 6000 attack back weapon? There's a huge explosion when That hits....man it'll be cool to watch stuff blow up and crumble.

They make the coolest explosions, but as Atrum mentioned they are really slow. Too slow for me to make an effective build currently . Although I gotta say Noah pulls it off pretty well.

mayhap the close range circling used by dragon/tamer equipped with the large missiles would do the trick

It's almost got a Kamikaze affect, since the AC has to pretty much get real close to fire; I made a hover AC just to try it out and it works efficiently, but suffers too much damage for having to get so close to fire every time. From far away, a little strafing from the enemy makes the missle pretty much lost...haven't tried Noah yet. It may impress me greatly.

Try my Noah build (in my garage) and tell me what you think I will, i prefer my missile mechs to have a little of everything =D, the only one i COULDNT encorporate was the large missiles, because they wreaked havoc with my AI programming...
