Grid 1 (Challenger): Cobalt- bakabum
Grid 2 (Defender): Giga T-Rex- nastradamatic
[glow=violet,2,300] Both Cobalt and T-Rex were looking to make a name for themselves, being unique builds with a sense of prominence in the league. Their weapon combos were proven to have effectiveness in past battles, but now it was time to determine who was the better of the two.
The mountainous, emerald green field of Poline Range seemed to be the perfect fit to test their special skills. Cobalt made impressive bounds from hill to hill, utilizing both of its sniper-like weapons and tactics in tandem with each other.
Unfortunately, the ogre2 blasts were somewhat slow at longer ranges so Giga T-Rex evaded them easily. It's karasawa shots shrieked through the air like screaming bats, vicously assaulting their pray with dead-on accuracy.
From then on, everything these two ACs did basically mirrored each other, from the exact strafing movements to the powerful beams. Despite this, it was Giga T-Rex who gained the advantage because it was able to fire and recharge faster.
The end came quite shortly as T-Rex tore Cobalt apart with its massive jaws of doom, defeating its opponent with relative ease.

- Oh, the irony. Cobalt by definition is supposed to be a darkish blue colour, but from the league designs section it looks black. So I kept it that way.
- Very well done T-Rex. It gains 2000cred for AP remaining, ubt no style points as you saw nothing too incredible in its tactics.
- Cobalt gets 750cred minimum, again no style points because no flashy tactics
