Stage: Poline Range
Grid 1: Don Corleone
Grid 2: Juliet
A spectacular battle was held today at Poline Range, between Harpy and Hydra specialist Juliet and the newly modified, Geryon and rocket launcher wielding Don Corleone. With such a variety of weapons out on the field, the battle was for sure an interesting one.
The battle started out very slowly, with each AC being unable to land a hit at each other because of the curving landscape that the range is known for. Juliet was firing Hydra missles and keeping a sniper's range away form the quad-legged Don, who was charging down the field toward Juliet. Don displayed an impressive show of speed, as it closed in on Juliet very quickly despite having missles rain down on it constantly, and was able to hit the Juliet with a huge Geryon blast. Although the rocket launcher required manual aim, Don was also able to hit Juliet with it.
Juliet quickly became a damsel in distress as it lost sight of Don after another huge Geryon blast. Even though Don was hit by a Coral and overheated, it began to boost around the heavy biped to hit its armor with some hand rockets. After the flames came off the quad-leg, the Geryon unit came back into action. Juliet, who was helpless for that whole time, decided to boost farther back to extend the range between Don and itself, and soon after the successful manuever, fired its Harpy2's into the air to assault Don.
Don was not fazed, and standing tall on its four legs, kept firing Geryon blasts at the retreating biped. Even though it took many WH05BP hits, Don's Drill arms and tough quad legs helped it withstand the shock produced by the hits, allowing it to concentrate on destroying Juliet with its Geryon. Even though Juliet continued to fire off missles and harpies, with the supplementary bazooka shots,
its attacks were no match for the powerful Geryon blasts that Don was firing. And that proved to be fatal.

Don's victory earns crx 2300 cd. Excellent job making a relatively speedy quad leg that's capable of firing the Geryon like a maniac even though it doesn't have an Orchid generator. I'm quite impressed with the damage that the hand rockets dealt as well.
Juliet's victory earns oonga-boonga 800 cd. Juliet was unable to establish itself as a strong offensive player during the match, and was on the defensive the whole time. The harpy and hydra combination proved to be a weak one in comparison to Don's single Geryon.
