I tried 4 times and I failed to kill Yian KutKu in Training camp.
Can any of you tell me its weakness?
I've killed it in the lv 1 quest, but it seems to me that it's little bit harder in the training mode.
And for the lv 2 quest " bringing 3 liver of the sand wyverns"
hmm, how do I kill those monsters!? If I were lucky to hit them once, the next thing I find is that me lying on the sand.
hmm... maybe i gotta use a different weapons.. Im currently using a bone blade+ which is like 400 attack
and velociprey sets of armor.
and I have about 4000 money to spend XP
give me some tips will you@_@ ?

for the sand wyvers, use the sonic bombs you get in the chest. throw them when one of the wyverns gets close and it'll fly out of the sand and flop around like a fish, then stand up and usually stay and fight you. If you run out of sonic bombs, follow one of the wyvers around until it jumps out and slithers on the sand for a bit. f you're close by when it stands up, it'll stay and fight you.
As for the kut-ku. just keep trying and watch it's movements. Also, block. A LOT. if all else fails, just try to get a better weapon and.

I haven't played for ages, but I still remember this fight...
First, paintball it so it appears on the radar. Then just flash bomb it's face at a distance when you get a clear shot.
Once it's stunned just run in with your SnS and either slash the head or in between the legs. Sometimes you can be safe if you just get into the block position in below him and slash behind your shield.
I also liked to use the big explosive barrels. Always fun to see those burst in front of it.

Eh.... you can be like me and go all rambo and just chain the jump slice into a combo into a dodge into a rolling slash into a combo into a dodge (you get the idea)
and stay on its left side, it only spins to the right. Oooh, and when it starts breathing smoke run away.
That bone blade+ also doesnt have enough sharpness to actually cut thru the kutku armor, try making an assassin blade or get any weapon with a green sharpness level and smack away.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the Training School. So telling him to get a better weapon isn't going to help. I've killed the TS Kut-ku with every weapon except lance (just can't seem to control a lance), and it's all a matter of practice. Also, figure out where you can gather materials during the quest. If you're lucky, you'll get the materials you need for Pitfall Traps and Large & Small Barrell Bombs.
Also, a Yian Kut-ku's weakspot is it's head.
