Top of my list is Michael Jackson, obvious isn't it?
Next I mostly look for Trance, then few musics here and there from games and such.

Ah, Michael Jackson. I still hum "Thriller" to myself once in a while.
I used to listen to a lot of techno, then moved on to trance specifically, and now I'm straying off to milder tunes. A little trance is good for the soul every now and then.
What do you like though, trance from the UK or Japanese (those are the more common sources)?
As for game music, my iPod has gig after gig of that...as well as anime tunes. Anything from Final Fantasy to .hack to Metal Gear Solid to Cowboy Bebop *rants on and on* can be found in my library. I especially like The Pillows' music that Furi Kuri (FLCL in the U.S.) is known for. 'Makes me glad to be alive.

Hahah, someone who shares my tastes, that's rare.
Never could tell which is from where, really, anything that can get my heart pumping or can fit in action type games in fine by me...
As for game music, the older AC BGMs were far better than what LR provided, so I collected a number of it, can be found in Galbadia Hotel of FF shrine, other than that I listen to Suikoden 5's Final Fantasy 7's...... Most importantly anything that is played on piano.

Just go to that Galbadia site and get yourself some FF Piano Collections. I heard that FFVIII had the best tracks, but my heart always goes out to FFIX.

Now that I think about it, Paul Oakenfold has some amazing works you should listen to.

lol, I'm drawing question marks on all those names.
I HAVE heard of Korn and NIN before...but I especially remember Korn for that video where a single bullet kinda pierces through everything (or something like that).

Well . . . hmm . . . First off, the Beatles. All of it.
Cowboy Bebop. (I have all but 3 CDs/Albems from this Anime) Ace Combat Soundtracts 4, 5, and Zero(The latest in the series so far).
Then random songs that I have picked up here and there.
.hack Evangelion
Full Metal Alchemist(I don't like the show really but its been on adult swim and I have a habit of leaving stuff on the tv. I found that there are a good few songs from this show)
Geneshaft(Same thing as previous but I saw the entire show for sale for about $30 so i own it now. "Cloudy Day" Is extremely good. The show over uses this song through out the show but its probably only becuase of it being the the only Great song the show has.
But what upsets me most is there is this one song that I can't find or probably never find that I really like.
On Steel Battalion(Yes the Mech game for the X-Box that came with the huge controller for $200).
When you die it brings you to a screen showing a makeshift grave(A rifle sticking out of the ground with a battle worn helmet on top.) while saying "KILLED IN ACTION".
During this they play a really good song.
But for only 20 seconds. They cut it off without any hint of it being a full fledged song or was it really 20 seconds long.
I hate them for that.
But there isn't a Steel Battalion soundtrack that I can buy so I'm pretty much stuck unless someone with a modded x-box or something takes the soundtrack off the game disc.
And on a side note. In the game for "music" you're aloud to take a small boom box inside your "cockpit" allowing you to listen to music during your mission. The downside is that you only have a choice from the 10-15 songs they give you, and they aren't that great after listing to them for 20-40 mins on repeat on those long missions. (no the one I'm looking for is not in there.)
Now this should have been a game that used the "Custom Soundtrack" option that was available to xbox games that nearly no one seemed to used to good effect.
Except for GTA San Andreas. If you like this game and don't have it for Xbox, GET IT. Forget the PS2 version. The xbox version runs and looks a whole lot better.
I played the PS2 version when my friend got it. It was good. I wasn't really ever a big fan of the GTA games to begin with and I thought this was really good. I got it later on for $20 for the xbox.
Five Words
RADIO STATION: USER TRACK PLAYER
All the music that is on your Xbox is randomly played as a radio station in your car.
I found this so great because all I had on my xbox is all my Cowboy Bebop and Ace Combat CDs.
It was too great, I would listen to the cowboy bebop music when driving(more like racing) around town for that feel of being in a chase. During missions the Ace Combat would come on giving the feel of Importance and seriousness(some of the time lol). This made the game soo much better I couldn't stop playing it.
It turned me into one of those raving idiots that goes on about the games they constantly play. And they only play it because they think 'Its da Bomb!'. I hate those people . . .
But it didn't last for long since I am now in between games atm(It still had side effects as you can see). I'm currently not doing much of anything right now.

lol....I remember listen to Metal Gear Solid's theme and then while I was running to catch up to a bus, the climax of the song occured...and the bus driver actually stopped for me. It's great.
And yeah, gotta love Cowboy Bebop. I also forgot to mention Evangelion; I'm a big fan of the series.
