I am just wondering. I mean, ACFF is by no mean the ONLY game anyone here have, right?
BTW, anyone here a MHF fan?

I'm really loving MH though it could stand to have some improvements. It's a hunting sim, yet some things don't seem "real" enough (I also would've liked a full streaming map rather than small loading areas) I'm hoping my problems are fixed in the PS2 version.
Pros: Co-op Huge amount of content addictive lots of diversity
Cons: Loads often and some can be long No Online which this game is begging for two type of wyrms are over used (4 variations of the Kut-Ku and 6 of the Rathalos)
This is something I posted on PSPcrazy a while ago: An ISO is basically the game from the UMD in a file format. ISO files can be changed (some people remove movies and Music to make the files smaller), and shared over the internet. If we had UMD burners we could re-burn the games and play them perfectly fine on our PSPs, but we don't so we use programs called ISO Loaders. These programs allow us to run ISO files on our PSPs, they include things like Fastloader, UMDEmulator, and DevHook. ISO Loaders only work on v1.5 PSPs and some ISOs are currently unplayable like Socom and GTA. This message board has a lot of links to ISOs for download. ISOs are Illegal and you can be fined for possesing them, but there is little to infintesimal chance you'll actually get caught.

I still haven't been able to get my hands on a demo of FFXII. CURSES!
Too bad the release date was pushed back to august..or was it october? Either way, I'm suffering in agonizing pain. I guess I'll just beat FFIX (my favoritest game in the world, and I've played through most of the other ones, even the gameboy titles) over and over until twelve comes out.
Edit: I used the word "favoritest" knowing that it's not a real word, so no laughing at me!

(*LOL)
I am playing DARK MIRROR, SOCOM, GTA:LS, and ACFF, but mostly ACFF these days. I can't wait to play MHF.
TS, you have a copy of it, so does MHF have any stealth elements at all? ----------------------------------------------------------------
I used to own MGA^2 as well, but got bored of it, I was using the infinite deck. It was fun until there weren't anything else left worth killing. And the stealth elements in MGA^2 or the first title really stinks, IMO.

Ah, Dark Mirror... I was playing that for a while, but stopped.
I'll get back to it someday.

Yeah, maybe someday I'll get back into it too. I love the mature theme, I love that part where that blonde got push off the building, kinda a dumb death, but love it.
and that part where you get to push a soldier into that big spinning thing and watch blood *cough all over the place. aahhh. I think I'll play just that part right now!
edited1:
AAAAHAHAHAHAHA. WILL YOU LOOK AT THAT! ALL THAT BLOOD! OH MY! AAAAHAHAHAHA.
Restarting the stage again.

MHF doesn't have much stealth which is one of it's short commings, it's far too easy for the dragon to see you and once it does it never loses sight even if you hide of leave the area and come back.

Awesome. As long as it pays off in the long run, then that's a game for me. And over 100 hours of seemingly endless gameplay and variety all in the palm of my hand? Sounds the like sexiest thing that's hit the PSP.

MHF is a pretty good game so far... (I'm also playing using an ISO)
I hate how your character is so freakin' slow though! Creatures = realtime battle. You = Turn based battle
it pisses me off! >_<
Other than that, I have no complaints. And here's a list of the games I'm currently playing (on and off):
ACFF MHF Daxter Megaman Powered Up Dragonball Z Shin Budokai
BTW, all of these games are in ISO form, and all are on the same memstick ^_^

Shear, use a faster weapon
|
|
|
Post by shearx on May 22, 2006 23:07:20 GMT -5
I never even mentioned what kind of weapon I was using, or how far into the game I was... so how can you possibly come to a conclusion like you did?

because the GS is the most popular weapon and people are always complaining about it being painfully slow while weapons like the Sword and Sheild and Dual blades are less used but much faster especially when facing the smaller dragons and the Prey/Drome

Post by shearx on May 22, 2006 23:13:53 GMT -5
and what exactly made you think I was using the GS?
