Both of my AC's will die of energy loss if its opponent can get it to overheat long enough (which isn't long). I haven't seen Xenon yet, but I'm sure it'll put up a good fight.

Well, even before the League really got going, people were visiting the board less and less, and some members have just disappeared. A good example would be Sinner2000, who used to be a regular at Gamefaqs but stopped visiting this board for a good period, and since disappeared.

Edit: I just hope that the new members will be able to frequent and support this board enough to keep it alive.

loss of interest is inevitable, really.
And I believe that's what shear is pointing out in the fader, most just don't understand that poeple have lives to live other than playing ACFF all the time, they get impatient and forget the whole thing and look else were or just forget it entirely.

Eventually the number of users here will drop low enough for us to close the league. That'll probably happen sometime next year if ever. After that we'll restart the league when a new AC game comes out, it'll be an endless cycle...

And about the league, the beta groups have received the most activity ever since everything started. The most active above it has been Tailsnake, with the occasional challenges made by anklbreaker and oonga-boonga, to name a few. There's GOT to be a way to package the league in a more attractive way...

mmm...I wouldn't say that, because if FROM is going to stop making a strategy-based AC game, then it pretty much means that there will be no more AC game for the PSP. It's like the Metal Gear Ac!d franchise; many people hated Kojima's bold move to make a card game with Snake in it, but it took two Ac!d titles to allow Kojima to finally decide that he's going to make a more action-based game, and it still incorporates strategy because it's going to involve teammates.

Think they'll make it like Front Mission? go on missions, have those five ACs or atleast pick a team out of the five, then cleverly out-smart the enemy using combinations of attacks to take them out. more like those RPG strategy types of games.

I doubt FROM would do such a thing. Although AC:FF seemed to be a detour from the other AC titles because it took an emphasis off of the action and control that players have over their machines, I doubt that they will stray as far as the RPG world for their AC games.

I'm hoping from will just make a miniture version of last raven (last raven also has AI). If they do then I'll be happy.

If we all have the same parts we could make a League with the PS2 and PSP LR!!! Imagine the size of it.

Does Last Raven have a bigger emphasis on story mode (if it has one) from previous AC titles?

well, from what I've heard, you'll be a mercenary like always except that you fight for different Corps but between about 3 sides, the Alliance ( Mirage+Crest+KISARAGI ) , Vertex ( Ravens' Ark ) and the pulvurizers I think.

I just realized that typos are more annoying than someone poking on your head, for example, carnage's custom title: "I can be smrat"

sm-> small/some/smelly/small missile?
rat-> rat?

He might be just joking around; I know tons of people who don't give a heck what they type out online, and that results in a lot of typos that require me to decipher.
