Crocodile's lightweight and nade+burst rifle combo is pretty darn effective, because the burst rifle helps stun the enemy (comparable to a linear gun), while the nade rifle does the devastating damage. Yeah, congrats, Tailsnake.

I'm more interested in seeing how Eneru and its Spartoi does, though. `

BunBunXpress v. bz-OVERLORD

Jacques bit his nails as he peeked over the railing near the window at his precious AC, and then the infamously powerful AC with the humorous name, BunBunXpress, from his seat at a tower that shot towards the sky from the West Bridge. Carnage, who had just arrived from school, rushed out of the elevator to take his seat in the East Tower.

“Look at those dwarfish arms on bz-OVERLORD,” Carnage laughed. While waiting for the announcer to begin the match, he took out his tablet PC, opened up Microsoft Paint, and started to sketch Christmas Monkeys for fun. “Wait ‘till my buds see THIS!” he exclaimed, as he frantically waved his stylus over the pad.

“Ready…GO!!!”

Carnage, surprised, accidentally dropped his tablet PC on the ground and the screen went black. “Aww…my masterpiece!” he whined. Jacques, from afar, got into a fetal position on his chair and bit his nails down to the last layer. “B…br…BRING IT ON!!!” he yelled with an air of false bravado.

As the announcer began describing the moves that each AC was making, Jacques could see his bz-OVERLORD taking daring dashes toward the gigantic beast he called BBX. After taking a bazooka hit from BBX and then dodging a grenade shell, bz closed in on BBX and released the first lock of three bazookas at the intimidating machine. After reading the sentence, “Grid 1 takes heavy damage” on the screen in his room, Jacques jumped out of his seat and made a Tiger Woods gesture, as if he had scored a hole-in-one. He quickly cuddled back into his seat and resumed biting his nails when he saw BBX retaliating with a grenade, bazooka, and napalm rocket simultaneously, slashing a huge chunk of AP from bz.

Carnage could not make out clearly what seemed to be 10 seconds of sheer profanity coming from the other tower, as he focused his attention at his very own BBX, which had trouble locating bz, which had just taken devastating damage and decided to circle BBX until its temperature and composure could settle. BBX failed to find bz for a few seconds, so it intelligently backed up and fired at bz, which was boosting right in front of it. From then on, Carnage could see BBX continuing its retreating tactics, and marveled at how BBX was still able to keep such a strong offensive presence. “I didn’t purchase an 81G and a WH05BP for nothing,” he said.

The next ten or so seconds proved to be grueling for both Jacques and Carnage to watch, as the two AC’s began shooting wildly at each other, carrying with them the spirit of AC’s such as Sushiboy, Benvolio, and Oppression, as if this could be their final match. bz tried its best to chase down BBX while firing locks of multiple bazooka shells, while BBX returned fire with its fearsome grenade launcher and bazooka combination. The battle was coming down to the wire, as both AC’s had less than 1000 AP. Carnage’s BBX was able to get bz’s AP down to 172, while bz was struggling to hit BBX with all its might, hitting it with only one out of the four shells that blasted out of its arms. bz’s fate seems to be sealed, as BBX fired a huge grenade launcher straight at bz’s face.

Jacques covered his eyes and heard a loud blast; he simply couldn't look.

Carnage gripped his hands tightly around the rails and accidentally stepped on his tablet PC, which was laying helplessly on the ground.

The announcer bellowed, “It seems that bz-OVERLORD just made the most impressive dodge in history, as it avoided the huge blast from BunBunXpress’s 81G, and countered by firing four bazooka shells for a perfect grand-finale-type of a strike to steal the win!!”

Jacques opened his eyes after hearing what seemed to be a loud "F-" word coming from the opposite tower, and read on the huge Sony plasma screen:

Jacques covered his mouth with both hands in an attempt to cover the huge laughter that was about to burst out of his face. "Crocodile, we're comin' for ya!"

We have finally arrived at Dewlight City to witness the battle between Crocodile, the fearsome and intelligent AC of the renowned architect Tailsnake, and bz-OVERLORD, the speedy and powerful machine of the up and coming architect, Jacques. Both AC's have assumed their positions. I think they are ready, and I hope our auidence out in the stands are ready for this exciting final round of the Crest bracket of the Company Tournament! Readyyyy, go!!
Would you look at that? Crocodile is already firing fiercely like a predator, and man look at the size of those two rifle shots bolting right towards bz! Better watch out and oh! What a spectacular move from bz! Jacque's AC was able to dodge Crocodile's first barrage of shots. And look! It's heading right toward Crocodile's way. This sure smells like some early revenge. Beeeee careful there, bz, you might be getting too close and MAN bz was just struck down by Crocodile's stunning rifle shots and a napalm rocket too. Grid 2 takes heavy damage! bz must the feeling the burn now! But wait, bz is still quick on its feet; it's trying to circle Crocodile after unloading two bazooka shells at the less-armored enemy! Grid 1 takes heavy damage! Both AC's are now trying to locate each other. They seem to be equally fast, and so they're chasing each other in circles. What is this? Crocodile just leaped over bz and fired another burst rifle shot at it! As effective as a linear gun, bz was stopped cold on its tracks! Absolutely impressive! bz is back on its feet and boosters again and just fire three shells at Crocodile, taking off a great amount of AP. Would you all just look at the relentlessness of these two AC's, both desperate to win and face the winner from the Mirage bracket. Dual rifle hits here, two bazooka shells there. Four bazooka shells there, and rifle and napalm rocket blast there. Just marvel at the aggressive nature of both of these AC's! Hold on, it seems that Crocodile is having trouble holding out its boost power. Perhaps bz's bazooka hits have caused it to overheat, and the boosters on Crocodile are already high-heat-producing. This...this can't be! Crocodile has just lost all of its energy trying to fly behind bz and is now in charging mode! This will surely spell death! Look at bz take advantage of the situation, zipping from Crocodile's left and right and emptying shells on the helpless predator's hide whenever there is an opportunity. Will Crocodile recharge in time to prepare for a counterattack? Watch out, Crocodile! Ouch, bz just fired four, count it, four bazooka shells at Crocodile's chest! Although I'm safe up here in a booth, I can still feel my hairs tingling on my chest just by looking at that huge collision. What a blast from bz that was! Crocodile better come up with a plan quickly, because bz's boosting around and hurting Crocodile with ease. Under 2000 AP left for the Crocodile, what will it do? It's been trying to fire at bz this whole time, but the hits just don't add up, as bz is too speedy and is firing much more powerful shots at what has now become a stranded prey. Around 1000 AP, remaining, and Crocodile's energy bar is 8/9 full....come on.....BOOM! It's over! bz takes it! bz has won the match with another lock of four devastating bazooka shots! Jacques and his AC advances to the inter-bracket finals!

It was primarily because you allocated only 5 points to heat and energy conservation in the performance section.

Crocodile was really great with boosting and dodging bz's in the first half of the match, but then it was hit with those continuous bazooka storms (which generated a lot of heat). Even in overheating status (I assume), Crocodile was still boosting at top speeds in an attempt to get behind bz. I think that move was the deciding factor.

this match was overall very slow moving. Hi/Beam using its hi beam practically blinded Don Corleone, who never landed a single blade hit. using a very different design Hi/Beam Totally confused Don Corleone into its defeat. Running out of energy didn't help Don. After running out of energy, Hi just slowly peged its way into the next round.

this was probably one of the most flashy matches i have ever seen. the battle started with both ACs charging at each other and letting loose their plasma rifles, Explosion after Explosion the match looked to be a toss up between the two. Suddenly Basilisk ran out of energy and ominia charged it gun ablaze and quickly finished its search and destroy mission.

Eneru walked it with its amazing support from tailsnake. While Opress stood their wandering what was going on. The battle started and eneru began hoping around blasting its guns and the huge Opress. Opress closed in and in. For a such a big target Eneru couldn't land a big hit on this big guy. Opress closed and just slaped the hell out of Eneru.

the battle started quick with both ACs charging each other. red eyes came knowing it had the win, but it underestimated it oppenent and basically watch the water infront of it, while e-X-cetusy danced around behind blasting him into pieces

this turned out to be a battle of endurance between the little guys. sealoin the faster and romeo the jumpy one. the jumpy one tended to evade more hit with less shots. evasion is what gave romeo the win in this wild west shoot off.

this is was a nice battle to see. both ACs caught each other in their crosshairs and let loose a barrage of attacks at one another. slowly the battle turned to endurance. slowly backing off it seemed like skorp had just rolled over to die then suddenly it let off a barrage of missiles that totaly destroyed sonny

Wow, eneru lost by 8000AP? that's odd, that design could beat Firefly, Crocodile and get Tamer to around 4000AP before falling so what exactly happened here?
