we dont have to grind a deadline into stone, just do something like:
You're garunteed ability to enter until 10 or more designs are entered for each company, from there, you have X number of days to submit your design

oonga has a good point. ok. to make it easier on me and jac, 16 designs will be accepted, and after 4 designs for each company are entered, there will be 7 days to submit your design.

Problem is, I REALLY want to enter this tourney, but I still don't have enough time to finish my two builds. I think right now we don't even have 8 yet, so I guess the 16-AC limit is alright...but if there's 16 without me, I'm going to try to push carnage to allow my two in regardless (auto-advancing system will be implemented if that happens, eek!).

This tourney has me really going, this whole weekend i been building crest & mirage designs. the limitations make it fun and challenging... i think i have like 6 new designs, but making mirage designs has been tough!

Jacques, just PM'd you my 6 designs i made this weekend. they're all up in my design hangar.
4 crest: crabby colgate, peacemaster, maroboro, and iceman
2 mirage: skorp & shizzler
i liked one of them so much i put a version into the league, who would think a one-company ac might have a chance...?! now to make some more mirage designs, this is frustrating but fun.

Can a spot be saved for me? Crest probably won't fill up so soon, but like I've said, I got a mirage AC in the works that I can't submit just yet.
And, another thing. To make sure that the last 3 who enter mirage designs are from DIFFERENT people, please, only one mirage design per entrant. This means, you can submit one crest and one mirage, or two crests for now. (You okay with this, carnage?)
I know Animesou's got a Mirage in the works, so with her in, there are two spots left. However, if a flood of entrants come in for some strange reason at some time, I think the bracket should be extended so that a larger number of people can be participating. I know that 16 is good for the brackets, but I think getting more people to compete is what's more important.
Edit: I thought Crest was going to be the more popular company...guess not.
2nd Edit: To all entrants who have submitted AC's, PLEASE, I say, PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR AC's so that they are not using parts from another company!
Rules (for example): a Mirage AC can only use Mirage parts, with the exception of ONE Kisaragi part that may be used. For optional parts, a Mirage AC can ONLY have Mirage or Kisaragi parts. Same rules apply for Crest AC's. PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND.
If I find a Crest AC with Mirage parts, or a Mirage AC with Crest parts after deadline and we start doing the battles...then it'll be a huge hassle to ask for modifications or look for someone else to submit an AC to fill that empty slot up.

Make that only 1 more Mirage AC aloud.
I have my Crest and Mirage ACs done. I am a bit busy right now so I can't put them up right now. But will have them up before 9:00pm, probably sooner. And you guys might be surprised with them.
