Biped AC Tournament

With Shear's approval, I will be running a small tournament that only allows biped ACs to participate.

Rules are simple:
- Tournament will follow a double elimination format. This means that an AC is allowed to lose only once (unless it is the finals), and the second loss will mean elimination from the tournament.
- 1 AC per architect
- Biped ACs only
- Brackets will be determined by a number from 1-1000; The closest person to the number will get the 1st seed and so on. If there are an uneven number of competitors, the closest number will get a first round bye. I will determine the number and my seed shall be determined, before the actual number draft, by the participants of the tournament.
- Bracket would have 1 vs Last Seed, 2nd vs 2nd Last Seed and so on...
- All other official tournament rules would be in effect.

Now with that said, who's interested?
- If interested leave the name of your participating AC and two numbers. 1st number is 1-1000 while 2nd number is for my seed, in between 1-10.

oh and a small clarification of the rule, as long as it stands on 2 legs, anything goes, right ?

Well there are some part restrictions (for right now, all i can think of is the LX Cannon, but its almost useless here), but if it stands on 2 legs, its good to go.

If there are parts that people feel should not be in this tournament, give a request and we'll vote on it...

Also, you have until March 29 (Wednesday) to come up with a design. If you have an AC in one of your garages, feel free to use it.

I'd say let LX in since you'd HAVE to kneel to use it.

Kneeling or not, its still a very powerful gun. 4-5 hits with it will kill most ACs, while even with the strongest guns, you'll still take awhile to kill the AC.

I don't mean to start an arguement, but the AI isn't smart enough to just use that gun, it tends to want to jump around a lot more.


I dunno, probably just me, but I think in a tourny like the the LX won't be a threat.

Here is the bracket so far. It looks a little wierd but it should be understandable after names have been put in...

btw, closest number to the number will get 7th seed if everything stays the same.

Im thinking because of your generosities, I should make the number around 7...

Um no, 7 is not the maximum number of entrants... But the deadline is today, so if you want to get in, do it now.

I'll get in and be 8 so it's even, but I won't have my design in until midnight-ish my time (mountain time).


Gotta keep re-configuring it (plus work makes it the soonest I can get it in). I'll enter amp, it'll be in my hanger before I got to bed.



But the rule is it has to be 2 legs, so RJ's and Bipeds?


And still no LX? Cause Blaze (his general design is in my fanfic, lightweight that OB's and mounts, fires, OB's more...) is actually starting to do what I want him to, and he uses the LX as a biped, but even if I entered him he'd be no threat.

Unless anyone gets a message to me that they are willing to join the tourney, my guess is Silence will be the final entrant, which, if I count correctly, will put us into 9 ACs, which will definately make the bracket wierder...

Btw, my entrant will be El-Scorcho, with a brand new design that I will have to put up a little later.
