BAD NEWS... VERY VERY BAD NEWS!
I was playing with my Ipod and without my knowledge my little brother got a hold of my PSP and dropped it down the stairs... Now it just wont run... It doesn't look like there was any cosmetic damage to it, it just wont start. I have to send it to Sony to get it fixed, which means the tourney will be either cancelled, put on hold, or continue to run if someone else wants to run it.
Don't worry, I punished my little brother. Not harshly, just told him he couldn't have candy until I get my PSP back.

Oh man...that blows if you didn't get a warranty and have to send it to Sony. In the meantime, can you please consider editting the bracket to allow 10 w/silence and I or 9 w/o silence? Or are you going to stick with 8. I know I'm nagging, but I really don't want to miss this one, or any, for that matter.

i would have loved to run the tournament (that's if everyone trust me enough of course) but i'm lacking a bit on the chip (got 46/48) so if there is some chips that are needed for the design, i just wouldn't be able to do it :s

I think we will have to have someone else do the tourny. It's up to Fallen in the end since it's his tournament.
Fallen allow people to enter two designs that way we could get 16 entrants, a balanced bracket and fit Silence and Metatron in.

If someone would like to run it, they can expand the bracket. I remember 7 entrants working properly in the brackets (with a bye round) so my guess is if you can't get 16, around 14 would work.
If we do get someone else to run it, and expands the brackets, Im gonna have to put both my El-Scorchos into the tourney (they're both almost exactly the same)

Currently 12 Entrants and it looks like Darknj will be doing the tournament, we still need a few more ACs (2-4 more) and entrants are now allowed 2 designs.

Metatron, that's up to Fallen. He said his ACs were near identical so I'd assume you can share parts.

Nope, both wrong, an LX biped lightweight.
Out of 100 test matches (yes I recorded them all on paper) it had 2 wins and 98 loses vs the formula front 1 AC.

Good G*d...I tried making one myself, and made it overweight just so that it'll stop moving and just kneel down to fire. It sucked.

Mine just wasn't accurate, but it did everything I wanted it to, jsut would kneel when a bit too close and enemy would move.
Killed widower 1.0 a couple times though.

I wouldn't host this one because I would get strangled for being late.
Darknj or Silence could probably take over, if they want, since Tailsnake and Fallen both have their PSPs being repaired. Or someone else for that matter, depending on if people think its a good choice.
Any way.... the weekend's coming up so I'll probably have time to enter a better design. Personally, I'd like to see Silence enter since he comes up with some original designs.

I'll start posting morein my hanger, I don't work with AI a lot so some aren't that great of designs to fight, but wit good programming many of them could do wonders.
I'll host it this weekend, I'll start saturday at about 4 or 5 pm western, and I'll do it all in one day.
Personally for my sake, can we just stick with 8 designs, makes it easier for me and it's easier on the memory card (8 saves, and 8 AC's.....)
I'll put up another tourny after this one, that a lot of you guys will either LOVE or LOATHE.

Um... Just to clarify, part sharing is legal. Something I should have said earlier...
I was just happy that El-Scorcho 2 was able to defeat Zeratul in one match (practice match). Though it was close, he was just unable to use the Nichirin on me.
btw, since im not running it anymore, I need to select some numbers...

Then I just forgot about it... But its true, it would be nice to see a new hoster. And having these unoffcial tournaments would really help the population try out their ACs against others. Plus it makes life better just because there are more than one tournament to enter. |
