Haha, Magus, we can call this match Cricket vs. HOHOSHI instead...
But, aside from that silliness, best of luck to you as well as Carnage and Tailsnake.
BTW carnage...what stage are the battles held at? I can't find where that was announced. And, what about the stage for the final bout?

According to Silence on page 12 the matches are in Dewlite City with the final in the grand arena.
I dunno if carnage wants to stick by that though, since it's his tourney now.

Ah, okay, thanks. I'm just worried that d-R-eadlock will back up too often because of Rook's missle+bazooka combo, which can be fired pretty quickly. Hopefully d-R-eadlock will stay out of those dreaded pillars of death.

And after a day of matches the sun starts to set on dewlight city, but we have enough time to bring you the semi finals.
**announce turns around a looks at the camera**
this carnage bring you this hot battles. the semi finals consist of
match1 death rook vs dreadlock
match 2 axel evo vs goliath (and his shovel)
match 3 cobra II vs THE MASSIVE SHOVEL OF DOOM!!!
As we enter the matches you may notice that Axel is the only medium weight AC left in this tourney. All ACs left in this tourney result to using explosive weapons. The most common are the bazooka CR- WHO5BP and the grenade launcher CR-WR81G. Since you are probably tired of hearing the announcer talk, lets get to the matches
match 1 grid 1:deathrook grid 2:dreadlock
This battle started off with deathrook again using the tactic he used to beat reverb late in his battle. As soon as the battle started deathrook fell back underneath the bridge's column system and fired out barrages of micro missiles. Dreadlock tasting the defeat of deathrook charged in with bazooka's firing at anything that moved within the columns. Deathrook realized he could not keep up his plans of camping to victory, rushed out into the open launching barrages at dreadlock. At that exact moment the battle turned sour for deathrook. His barrages we being consantly shot down by dreadlock and not to mention his bazooka was running low on ammo. The well armored AC, dreadlock came out the winner in this match. Deathrook's limited micromissile ammo supply turned to be his downfall.
grid 1:0000 grid 2:3593 time: 49s winner: d-R-eadlock
match 2 grid 1: Axel evo grid 2:Goliath
this was truely a battle to see. With Goliath and his massive shovel versus Axel the underdog. Axel determined not to lose charged goliath with his grenade launcher and griffion laser rifle combo. Goliath brought his massive shovel but realised he wasn't fighting cobra and dropped it. Goliath determined not to lose charged into battle. At first glipse it seemed the well armored goliath was going to rule the battle, but Goliath made the mistake of going into to short range. Axel unleashed a barrage of napalam rockets, grenades, and eo shells. Goliath walked away the encounter laughing at Axel's poor attempt to harm him, but failed to notice that he was now ablaze. This set the battle downhill for Goliath. Axel's napalam turned the battle in his favor. Goliath now smoldering and laying defeated on the bed of the river muttered, "good bye cruel world. I'm leaving you today. Goodbye. Goodbye. Goodbye........................................"
grid 1:4856 grid 2:0000 time: 25s winner: Axel evo
match 3 grid1: cobraII grid2:shovel
BONG ON THE HEAD
grid1:0000 grid2:9999999999999999999999999999999999999999 time: -1s winner:shovel

Goliath lost, maybe I should've tuned it for this arena and not just entered it in the form I used in the no limits tourny.

Wow, that was kind of quick. I left for a while and the results are already here, whaddya know.
Hmm... so Rook lost. Just like Tailsnake said with his Goliath, I should have revised my AC from the No Limits tourney. It could do with some extra VS ECM, not to mention exhanging the core/adding inside part.
I always thought the missile supply was sufficient, since it either got destroyed or beat the opponent with them, but seeing recent battles I should change it.
It probably sounds like I'm whining lol, so I'll stop. I'm curious to see as to who will take home the cup...
EDIT: And Shear might be busy with the league, he might not have time. It's okay (at least for me) not to have videos, since that was the way it was in the early GFaqs tourneys.

Perhaps...lessen the weight a little to accomodate the nine-lock one? I mean, the micro-missles really work. IMO, they work better than regular missles, which often just fire into the ground (at least with my builds, they usually do).

Yeah, perhaps.
I was thinking of changing the core especially since it doesnt really use/need the overboost...

Wha? E05's got OB? Haha, I thought it was just an enlarged EO weapon...like SELENA. I've never used it, hence the obliviousness.

i want some to internet game a bit and sleep, plus i really need to turn my calculus homework. also why did everyone stick to heavy set ACs? i have never tried to build a heavy set biped. I might give it a whirl though

Well, I suppose everyone has a bit more defence/AP as a safety measure. It can be a bit more risky relying on mid-weights/lightweights, since good targetting ability is quite able at neutralizing speed.
That, and we can load up the heavy weapons.

Well, for my dreadlock, I tuned the AI so that it won't lose track of an enemy or allow the enermy to circle it even if the enemy has around 400 boost, so I really didn't have to worry about the weight or boost power of dreadlock. But I DID keep the boost power above 300 for dreadlock, I think. I love dreadlock as much as I love blacklash (for their capabilities).

Hmm. Jacques, if you win this you'll be the only two-time champ aside from shear (who has won two or three tournaments.... I cant really remember).
