Hope everything gets well soon..
another point on the issue: personally if I made an AC that was very simillar to one alraedy there, I would not want to submit it, even if I made it without any reference. Perhaps its just me though, but I value the individuality and uniqueness of my ACs, theres never only one way forward. metatron just kinda made it sound like he was running out of options with designs, which is hardly the case I think. anyway, two simillar ACs will always be doubted in terms if genuinity whether they're copied or not As a general rule, you'd think it wouldn't be allowed.

Well this is the third time in the past month my aunt has been in since they keep putting her in surgery and taking it out, but it comes back or some weird crap like that.
I'll keep going, jsut stopping at first bracket most likely tonight. I will post it though, after I type it up, since I was lazy and used a tape recorder to hear myself talk about the matches (lotta detail).

Thanks Animesou, for being considerate about this. I know that since the BlueEyes/Ancient Red incident, I have a big nasty blotch on my name. But knowing this, I think that I would be smart enough not to submit a copy from the same person, as I wholeheartedly want to be part of this community and participate in the matches and know that if I repeat my mistakes, I will receive severe punishment. With this being said, I will say that I submitted Gauge Twelve because it is my design and I will not alter parts because Animesou's Tamer has some of them.
Rationale for Gauge Twelve - I wanted to create a speedy AC to take on the mostly heavier AC's that were already submitted. Besides machine guns and blades, shotguns are also very affective and high-attack, lightweight weapons with relatively fast firing intervals, and so I put them on Gauge Twelve because I've never made a shotgunner before and believe that speed+shotguns can match heavy blows from weapons like grenade launchers and bazookas. Core - I chose this for the extra firepower to back up my two shotguns, as I'm not using the more popular WH01SP, mainly because of its heavy weight. As you can see. Seeing that many of the biped designs are heavily armored, I felt the need for those extra hits, since the shotguns alone cannot do the job. FCS - (drawing from the explanation I used for using Kokuh on Ancient Red and not Cowry or Limpet) Because the Widower is obviously not in this tourney, Cowry and Limpet are the runner ups for being best for close-range combat, and Cowry is obviously the better of the two, and it's okay now if Gauge Twelve backs up, since I made it have higher speed for better evasion. Generator - Because I made gave Gauge Twelve a 16 variable AI plus high dashing and jumping and for speed, the 97 works a lot better than it's cousin, the 91(?), because it provides more energy and is lighter. Cooling - Again, since I have a high heat Gull2 with variable+high dash and jump AI, I need Ragora to suppress the temp increases, or else my Gauge Twelve, which was meant for speed, would be a sitting duck for all of its more offensively and defensively powerful opponents without boosting capabilities. I tested Gauge Twelve with Ananda, Moruken, and the like, and the AC would often suffer from overheating. Obviously, Furuna is too heavy. Inside part - Napalm rockets have played important roles in cutting enemies short as it depletes their AP as well as energy and hinders overall performance in general. Without the inside part, again, my shotgunner would lack the firepower necessary to take town, say, Goliath, which has high AP, defense, and energy supply. Extension - just look at what I have for arms: the A88FG. Though it is lightweight, it suffers from extremely low AP and defense, and so I needed a strong solid shield to protect Twelve from the barrages that it will take from all those WH05BP and grenade launcher shots. I cannot argue on Optional Parts, because everyone uses them to make their AC's more capable and versatile. I equipped the parts I did on Twelve to give it better solid defense, more engery for all that boosting it will do, leg breaking and codon for better manueverability, and mariashi to aid ragora in suppressing the Gull2 temperatures. And I always put those types of back parts for VECM performance and the lock-on apt on all my AC's, and along with Kangi to prevent any possible Hohoshi users from rendering Twelve's tracking useless.

Its ok... no need for long explanations again, as I'm sure we understand your logic now. Really, what counts is that anime acknowledges that you werent necessarily copying.
But... as Silence is the hoster we must also respect is word, and the tournament is probably too deep in to change.
Its amazing, tho. Rainmaker's cerberus poularized the hohshi if I recall correctly, and now everyone is taking countermeasures against it.

Aight here they are.
BTW my AC is in my hangar (designer)
Matches Round 1 Bracket
Tamer VS Reverb
Both AC's looked at each other from across the arena. Knowing the battle would be long and hard,
both AC's rested while they could. The alarm came and both rushed in bouncing around each other
in a hail of handgun, machine gun and bazooka bullets. The 2 AC's both seemed to be evenly
matched, as the lead was never truly in anyone's hold. Napalm rockets were decisive. With tamer
and Reverb both having trouble keeping a lock on each other, it seemed to be a dance until the
last 10 seconds when all hell rained lose and they were able to keep locks. Both AC's dropped AP
quickly as it broke away one final time. The critical hit. A single napalm rocket decided this.
Both bounced away with AP to spare- although not much- and one AC had a critical error.
Overheated. Tamer was not able to withstand the final napalm rocket and it crumbled to the
pressure, but not without leaving reverb covered with bruises.
Time: 52 Sec
Grid 1: 0000 Grid 2: 1052
Winner: Reverb
Death Rook VS El Scorcho MK 1
Both Ac's stood strong on the battlefield. They stared each other down until the word "GO!!!!!"
Echoed through the arena, El scorcho tried to make the close in but everytime it went in close,
Death Rook had a volley of micro-missles ready to meet it head on. el Scorcho tried time and time
again but it could not escape the seemly endless volleys. The entire tiem Death Rook jumped in
the distance dodging the futile fire of the dual bazookas.
Time : 15 Sec
Grid 1 : 5400 Grid 2 : 0000
Winner: Death Rook
Wyvern VS Dreadlock
Both Ac's looked at each other from across the arena. Wyvern smiled, knowing it had an
overwhelming advantage, just by looking at Dreadlock.
Dreadlock started out pushing forward right into Wyvern, who backed into the corner in fear. With
little hope to make it out alive, and a simple HOHSHI separating it from victory, the Wyvern just
could not get dreadlock off with it's dual bazooka assault. Wyvern had numerous shots of dual
grenade/KRSW shots which would have ANNIHILATED Dreadlock, that simply coudl not connect.
With no hope left, Wyvern curled up, and died.
Time: 33 sec
Grid 1: 0 Grid 2: 6411
Winner Dreadlock
Zeratul VS AEmunity
The match was destined to be one of the best for both AC's as both stood with a KARURA strapped
to their back awaiting the incoming battle.
It started out ranged, with AEmunity doing some futile shots with it's bazooka/grenade combo, but
alas Zeratul was using the KARURA alone whic against AEmunity's armor was pathetic. With plenty
of AP left of both sides it seemed nearly hopeless for an end.
The 30 second mark hit right after Zeratul went Kamakazie. With it's Karura full of ammo the
mighty AEmunity had to fight nearly hand to hand as Zeratul zipped around it with a flamethrower.
AEmunity died in a roar, having little control of the battle throughout.
Time: 46 Sec
Grid 1: 5621 Grid 2: 0000
Winner: Zeratul
AEther VS Barda
The Two AC's immediately went straight at each other, both out for murder, blood and death. Both
realized the power of their foe, AEther, having the massive power of his rockets, and Barda, with
his insane Grenade/Krsw combo. Both started encircling each other trading fire. AEther was
starting to go far down, as his rockets jsut weren't connecting. Barda had a stroke of luck as
AEthe jumped into a bridge on the opposite side, effectively ending the fight as a KRSW hit him
in the face. Literally. No it really did hit the AC in the face. Fine don't believe me, but it
happened. YOU DON'T KNOW ME.
Time: 30 Sec
Grid 1: 0000 Grid 2: 4926
Winner: Barda
Axel VS Kashou
A battle so grim for one side that you actually felt guilty watching it. Right from the get-go
Axel hovered over the ground firing relentlessly at the entity known as Kashou. Kashou was
mounted with the dual Pegasus back unit, but did not even leave the ground, much less boost with
them. As the pummeling commenced Kashou could do little but try to run as the stun was jsut too
much for it's feeble body to take.
Time: 13 Sec
Grid 1: 7398 Grid 2: 0000
Winner(By FAR): Axel
Cobra II vs Judas
Both AC's were ready to get the match on, and ready for death, Judas the traitor, vs cobra, the
tricker. They charged at each other firing both wanting to go in clsoe but the fire pushed each
other back, circling. Cobra slowly crept ahead in the AP and judas tried to win it with all his
might, but his shots just wouldn't connect.
Time: 28 Sec
Grid 1: 2030 Grid 2: 0000
Winner: Cobra II
Goliath VS El Scorcho MK II
Goliath is a beast to behold with that amount of armor, and El Scorcho knew it. He readied his
two bazookas and headed into battle. Both of them seemed to trudge around on the ground, Goliath
walking in a seemingly mocking way, with almost all shots connecting. El scocho was boosting
around, walking and running but just couldn't seem to dodge enough shots. They traded damage
evenly, but El Scorcho just couldn't dodge enough and goliath was mocking him in every way. In a
rain from above his opponent Goliath sent down grenade, bazooka shells, and energy bursts as El
Scorcho screamed in the fires that make hell.
Time: 29 Sec
Grid 1: 2565 Grid 2: 0000
Winner Goliath
