Okay boys, I'll do my best to re-create the rules that i remember from the first lightweight tourney (Laeq/Dark will most likely edit this post so as to make it all tidy/correctly ruled a bit).
Lightweight Deuce
I think I got it all...Laeq will do the rest.
Lightweight Deuce
- PM your submissions to Dark, with the title "Lightweight Submission". They will be posted after the deadline passes. THE TEMPORARY DEADLINE IS OCTOBER 2ND. It may change if enough people need more time.
- All legs types except tanks are permitted, as long as they can fit within the weight limit.
- Total weight must be within 6200(?) or less
- No EO Cores
- Must use either handguns, hand rockets, blades, or pulse rifles (includes the DEMON and parrying blades). This means it must be classified as one of the above in the weapon description. To access the weapon description press triangle twice over the weapon in the assembly.
- Exceptions- The CR-WH01HP is banned from this tournament, because it is broken. The CR-WL95HNNR left hand napalm rocket is allowed, despite not saying hand rocket specifically. The CR-WR93HNRP right hand large rocket is allowed, despite not saying HAND ROCKET specifically.
- You CANNOT use any weapon that says anything other than HANDGUN, HAND ROCKET, BLADE, or PULSE RIFLE.
- Pegasus boosters, radars, or any NON-OFFENSIVE back equipment is allowed. Any extensions are fine, feel free to even use the missile ones but they won't work without main missiles. No offensive insides or ECM makers, but decoys are welcome.
- You cannot underweight tank legs or do any other kind of exploit that allows you to have a tank with 9999 AP but only weighs in at 6200 or less, just stick with lightweight/Midweight legs (Dark's Note: Shouldn't be a problem. There is only one possible combo for 9999AP and it shouldn't be able to downweight itself to the limit).
- You MAY, however, use Heavyweight cores and arms if you find a way to do so, but heavyweight legs are for the most part off limits
- No Part Sharing, except Optionals obviously. The maximum number of ACs per contestant is three (two less from the last time), and they must be built on the same team and game save.
- No errors are permitted on any given design. This includes but is not limited to overweight, AI error, and arms overweight.
- About previous designs- BUILDS from previous tourneys or leagues is not allowed. This does not include names or modifications. A hypothetical example is that Joe could enter an AC named "AC1" that is a completely different build than the one he entered in the last lightweight tournament. Similar, Bob could enter "AC2" whose name was unchanged, based on a design he made in the past; but with a few modifications here and there. Exact duplicates of past designs are not allowed to encourage new builds.
- BATTLES WILL TAKE PLACE IN IGOL ISLAND.
