This game eats too much time... I knew it was dangerous getting it! Sorry, I don't have wi-fi max. I would play with you if I could. BTW Thanks for the advice, I'll probably go for that.

Dark all i have to say is make a poison battle Axe i went all the way up until the elder 5* quest with it until i made all my other weapons and elemental SnS.So go for the Assassin Dagger then that upgrades to Poison Axe then after that is Poison Battle Axe Then after that is 2 more upgrades But need G rank items. But YOU can do it oh and i MADE hr2 woot woot.

Just wanna make a point, I got the PBA and hated it, make sure you like the SnS class if you choose to go that route

Hmmm, all the weapons are "fun" to use, if you use it correctly --> depending on monster, element, stage, etc.
So far though, I prefered GS and SnS over all others. I sometime will go BG, but rarely.

he didn't kill that thing, it's way more powerful than the Kut-ku you're fighting Edit: the blade he's using can kill a normal kut-ku in less than 10 hits. I have the weaker version of it and I can take one out in about 15 hits.

don't be offensive, wait for them to either charge or use thier flame attack then rush in and get a hit or two then block. If they fly, get under thier shadow and begin attacking, if lucky they'll fall while landing. If it falls or growls aim for the tail, if you're lucky you'll cut it off before the figh is over. If you treat them like a Kut-ku of Gyceproc you'll get your ass handed to you on a platter.
Keep in mind I took them out with a Greatsword.

is that the one where you fight both of them at once if your fast and lucky and find them in area 4 i think where you can jump up on something and not get hit.In that area they will kill each other you just have to use your block if you can.And if one flys away dont let the other one fly away to cause they will meet up and make it hell for you.But yea take alot of flash to stop them if your not so lucky and cant jump onto something high.

those two are pushovers. I did both of the rathalos+rathian quests on my first try. Granted it took a while the first time to get them separated, but I did it. Pink Rathian and Azure Rathalos were easier in my book. When they're alone, they try too hard.

Kirin's easy. it's a quick bastard though, so GS and BG users will have some trouble, I've heard Hammer does wonders on it, but I haven't try it.
SnS works well for me. I usually just use forst edge or wolf blade to take it out.

Kirin is two fast to hit with my GS, it's strong against my lance elements, I can't use hammers for crap and I sold my only SnS (PBA) for cash. I tried gunning and it was going well but with my gunner armour two shots from Kirin will kill and that thing has the fastest combos I've seen yet. I may have to SnS it, though I'd rather get the Rusted Bowgun.

Yeah, gunners have paper thin armor. >_< And both GS and Lance are too slow, so is Hammer. SnS is the way to go for me. The PBA is pretty easy to obtain.
edited:
I was fighting Yian Garuga, I got this tail, and both ears off. I was pretty confident. Until this happened (it was in frenzy mode):
Charge->charge->beak attack->charge->flip kick
done it super fast, all in like 5 secs. Lucky for me, I am a SnS with protection earring. auto-deflected all 4 attacks and dodged the flip kick with my stamina drained from 150->0.
I zoned immediatly, after some potions, rations and sharpened my sword, I went back and finish it off with a "win", I didn't kill it.

but it costs over 20000, I'll just end up gunning it - I have to find gunner armour with good electric resistance
