ATTENTION!

My AI for the touranment is not compatible with inside parts (unless you do a "special" tune, which I will not do for this touranment, it would be too much of a giveaway, . AAAHahaha!) And besides, even with the Hohoshi, it's almost useless, all you need is have ecm above 1000, and it's not a problem. Please remember this. Everything else will still function as usual.

As usual, from me, expect very little to no bans at all, I think not being able to use inside parts is already a ban in itself and punishment enough.

BZ and BZL can easily kill before most of thier Ammo is up as long as thier AI is programmed correctly. A few volleys of the BZL + Napalm could take out even the best of radiators, leaving the AC near defenceless and immobile.

How about a dual heavy gunning ban? (heavy guns are defined in the game)
Most of the complaints I hear are about dual heavys (dual BP, B2/BP, 81G/BP, etc)

that's probably because you've yet to experiance how abused they are.
now if I ask you, why most... or you yourself hesitate to post a blader AC or a rifler in the league? answer that, and you'll know why there is something called a ban.

Edit: I totally agree, but that won't work in every place, take them in Azoy desert and you'll see them almost useless on AIs.

Althought it was my creation that kinda lead to his fashion trend, I am too, tired of that combination.

I wonder what will happen with the release of this AI, hopefully without the inside operations, it will not start another fashion trend. I love challenges, but hates fighting against myself -- it's no challenge.

I don't usually catch them until I reread when I come back later at which time it's often pointless since others have already read/caught/replied to it

That's just one of the reasons I prefer challenging AIs from the game rather than get my ACs get torn apart like paper.

And I believe that's how most of the 'spectators' feel as well.

I think I've said this before but I don't like using either ECMs, 81Gs or dual Bazookas because they're generally overused/broken/abused.

Oodly enough Genocide has broken each of those personal limits

I love using micromissle in that modes since it causes the game to slow down and my opponent to become an easy blading target.

Actually, I am kinda free, just tunning and testing CERBERUS and NIGHT for WI-FI battles. Other than that, we can start planning for the touranment.

I am also trying to get a few of my buddies to join up, but like me, they aren't into "organizations" much until they don't have much of a choice. I hope this touranment will ruin their AC creations enough and (1) encourage them to join, or (2) depress them enough -- force to quit, thus we pick up MHF or (3) turn them into fearsome ACFF enemies (which is kinda scary, their ACs are already kinda scary).

Actually, I much prefered a random AI, I will post the AI soon in my hanger to JOKER, so it's not a "secret" or anything. Unless, the community wants to use it, but since no one knows what it actually does except that it's a close range AI, it might not live up to all the hypes.

Have you guys ever consider the challenges that is lost, when our AI/Part tunes and equipments are fully exposed for other architects to exploit it's weakiness? There is no longer a worthy opponent, when the majority of your opponents are pretty much counter ACs or clones of the best AC.

And when everyone design counter ACs, who wins? Who's really the better builder? It becomes a matter of who's the best counter AC builder. People abandon originality and build a piece of crap they have no personal attachment to.

People stop using missiles, b/c the moment an AC puts on missiles, another architect quickly equips a missile counter on their AC. Thus the victor of that battle has already been determine, beats the point of building an missile AC in the first place or even having a battle at all.

The drive for originality and creativity dies. The league and touranments becomes a simple, boring tug-of-war. Eventually, the league dies as well, because no one cares about it, for they have nothing to care for in the league.

This is the discussion that's around the wifi community that I am a part of. Like the game, our parts and AI tunning are the most carefully kept secrets. Each player might get a good glance of their opponents, but can never fully copy the design, thus every fights, even though might be against the same opponent, no one can really be sure of victory.

This is one of the reasons many good players who I have duel with ABSOLUTELY refused to join this community or others of the like.

Of course, I am a hypocrite. As much I as I want to kept my ACFF stuffs secret, this wifi community only meet 2 or 3 times a month, I crave for opponents, thus the reason I am here.

Anyway, just thought I spit it out.

Can you say "checkmate"? This is the reason I think it's wrong to build tournament ACs before they start or why I refuse to use certain designs that have become over popular. It's also the stem of Moonwalkers arguement, though he took it in another direction. Look at how many ACs in the league began to use te Hoishi once Cerberus came in, look at how many people have Cerberus/BlueEyes Clone AI, Look at how many people weild Dual Bazooka and 81Gs. The league has become a pile of Copy ACs becuase are designs are free for everyone to see it's impossible to hide the secret of your success. It's also the reason why anime left, BlueEyes was no longer the AC that she had made, she began to play only to win and in that she lost her AC (she also left for a bunch of other reasons). Eventually this type of copying will stagnate and kill the league.
