To Dark we were talking about weapons - They fall into the categories:

Sword And Sheild (Think of Link's Sword) - Good speed and sharpness, great elemental damage, can block and dodge, can run while weilding it

Great/Grand Sword (Think of cloud's sword) - Slow, High Attack Power, can block and dodge

Lance (Think of the weapon a knight would use except this also comes with a large shield) - Medium damage and attack speed, can move while blocking, can't dodge

Dual Swords (Think of Cervantes from soul calibur) - low damage, insane attack speed, decent elemental, can't block can dodge, can go into rage mode which drains stamina but allows longer combos and higher attack power

Hammer (Think of Thor) - Decent attack speed, high attack power, can't block, can dodge, can charge attacks

I'm still in the process of moving to my new home, and I'm not going to get any internet until Wednesday or later (curse Comcast!!!). I don't think rainmaker posted his three numbers yet, but once he does, I'll ask shear and the mods if one of them can randomly draw the numbers out then post the order in which they appear. Then rainmaker and I can work out the details (bans...rewards...other restriction...etc.) and then we'll see if shear will let this thing be official.

That is...if you guys (everyone on the board) want the AI tourney up.

and whats cool is my new AC, Old Capulet, is able to operate with just about any AI, i just gotta change his weps around...though the biggest part of his strategy is his Chips...what all parts of the AI are you guys doing? Just the base character or the performance and all that too?

Oh, yeah. I forgot... the wi-fi touranment... for those who are/were interested in the results.

I got 3th place with CERBERUS, very close calls.

First place was a better design of my AC NINE, very ugly, but very strong. I wish I knew the AI set up.

Second place was a shotgun user, I lost to this AC twice.

There are 4 other players who plays this game more than I do, and they always seem to have a better AI or something... which I can never figure out. Makes it more challenging though.

they were using their "trump cards" I think, ACs I have never seem before in previous battles... kinda sad, with few regrets, I should have used NIGHT... could have gotten at least 2nd.

I think we are just doing the AI character, the performance is head dependent, so we'll let the players decide. And I think we are leaving out the chip completely, because they tend to take-over whatever AI character an AC is using.

Sorry guys, still don't have internet yet, and I've got a 150-point AP US History presentation due on friday that I haven't started on because of the lack of a connection. Right now I'm on a school computer. Anyway.

That is NOT the order, unless rainmaker wants it to be. If he's okay with my idea, I would like to ask for a moderator (not me, of course) to dump these numbers into a jar or a HAT and draw them. Then, I would like for the mod to post the order in which the numbers were drawn. As for AI chips...if rainmaker wants them out of the picture, then I guess no chips will be used. OR, rainmaker can select a few chips that people can choose from (I'm thinking about the attack-only chip ATA-2(?) and the DEF-2 and/or 3, and maybe a few others). But chips can be decided after the final AI setup has been posted, because stuff like range and attack/defense are crucial to one's selection of chips.

After that...I think rainmaker should decide whether or not certain weapons will be banned (I don't know about 81G and WH05BP, but I THINK that everyone will be in favor of restricting the HOHOSHI and the LX).

After that, I'm schmoozing with shear so that this can be made official (I know I said this 500 times before).

BTW, what do you guys (rainmaker and mods....especially) think the credit rewards should be? Or what kind of reward SHOULD be present?

So, if rainmaker okays whatever I said up there, then any mod can just post "I'll do it" or "I'd love to help out with this exciting number-drawing!" and then post the numbers here. Thank you all.
