....I'm not likin' this random map deal.... lol...
Speaking of which, energy shotgun tests are doing better than expected... if I can brush my AC up, then you might see some innovative stuff.

Good luck with the Wyvern series, Dark.
Anyway, I was thinking about this random map thing too, and got another tourney idea - The Stage Tourney. I don't know if there will be limits on AC's, but the first stage will be Hollow Arena, then Poline Range, then Vortex Mine, then some other maps until we reach the finals, which will be held at LPM Furnace. I think having AC's fight on set stages in different rounds will make architects think about making their AC's well-rounded. The map orders can be changed...but anyone think this is an acceptable idea? I know it's way too early for coming up with another tourney idea, but eh, 'just thought I should get the thought out before I forget it.
BTW, your GRL user's pretty good, O-G.

having a diff map for each round is the same as all random, because theres more rounds than there are one AC type oriented maps, so the variation wouldnt really increase in what you'd see
i mean, the only difference would be maybe one or two maps, on random you'd get something like Vina,Leptas,Poline,Grand Arena,Rus Feild
on set rounds per map, you get something like Hollow,Rus Feild,Leptas,Yeri Block,Fros Region in order to make it more rounded AC oriented than close, med,or long range oriented ACs

No, the deadline has not been changed.
However, I feel inclined to shorten it and make it next Monday....but I won't.

I am so bored... is there anyone here I can trust (do not peep) to hold my ACs and submit it on the due date? There's a chance I will not be able to get on next week due to my job. And I don't want to post early.

(Answer from yesterday) Like the AI Tourney, I held everyone's designs after they PM-ed it to me and did not open them (except for Laeq's because he gave me permission to look) until the tourney started. If you think you can trust me, rainmaker, based on that, then please PM me your designs and I will submit them during midnight or maybe 11:59:59 PM of the 18th (lol...), to the best of my ability.
Be sure that your AC(s) meet ALL of the rules. Since I can't open your PM, it's even more important for you to double check the FPV's on your AC's and the parts they're using. AI point allocations should be perfect as well. However, if there are still some mistakes on your AC's, then I have to make an "executive" decision and try to fix the problem without weakening the AC (I'm mostly talking about part sharing).
A dead day it has been today...

I guess we're all waiting for the deadline...
It's during the actual battle phases that the posts in the thread jump consistently, so I guess we gotta wait for that.
Another thing is...some of the more familiar faces aren't around here as much anymore. I'm talking about rainmaker and TS, primarily, who contribute to almost every thread frequently. TS would occasionally talk about some of his test builds and such, while I would try to provoke rainmaker to some mini-challenge. And those posts STACK UP...lol. Without that activity...threads will be dry...
AND WHERE ARE THE NEWCOMERS?! I had some much faith in them....

the flash AC creator gave me a energy supply of -39 for my design... I don't have the psp, only got the build written on paper. So now I am lost. I double checked it before letting the psp leave the house... crap.

AHAHAHAHA! ;D A slow start... but that's a good start. edited: Ok, I triple checked my designs. The flash AC creator was wrong. I'll submit it instead of sending it to Jacques I guess. edited2: O-G, great ACs you've got. I haven't test them out (too lazy), but they look great!
