Wow, I'm kind of surprised my AC's made it all the way through... I guess making them super fast worked out in the dodging aspect of everything. Sorry about knocking out one of your AC's O-G and whoever owned the "Black Arm". I'm really surprised I made it to the second round as I thought everyone would have destroyed me in the first round. Well, can't wait to see the second round, I have high hopes of my Hornet, as few prepared for the heat damage that he throws out there. Good luck to everyone in the second round! *note to Purist, nah, I'm not on another board... I'm still new to this as I only played for about 5 days before I designed my guys. I'm sure someone like your AC's will demolish mine, though it would be fun if one of yours and one of mine won. That way we both move on no matter what **Note to Dark, I know why you're passing on the battles with mine, because mine usually draw it out and are slow at killing it's ok, I made them that way... to do enough damage to win and then dodge like mad....

Yea, sorry about that.
My parents went on a cruse vacation yesterday morning (Saturday around 11am) and took the laptop with them . . . So I had to get old clunky (the old computer with CPU problems) hook back up (sorta).
This computer is literally 10X slower (The process of it starting up, turning off, and doing anything that requires it to think.) now that DSL is hooked up to it. (Don't ask me why or how. I don't know) And now its being a pain in the ass. (As in it's an -sshole.)
After all of that I had a party with my friends since I had the house to myself.
(What kind of a person would I be if I didn't throw a party when I have the whole house to myself for a week? The drink of the day was Sprite mixed with Vodka and ice with a slice of lemon and lime on top. Really good. Try it sometime.)
So I will do these later after I get up.
(And after my hangover is gone. Between me and 4 other people we drank about 2 bottles of Vodka. Fun.)
So all in all I had a busy day.
(I don't know how but for a SECOND time I managed to BURN soup . . . SOUP)
See you all later.
(I’m still under the influence right now.)

*evil grin* Oh my goodness.... Avarice VS StainRedVega was the best battle I've seen since I got the game! *run away to a deserted island out of Purist's reach* EDIT: Okay, that was a lil bad of me to do that lol . I actually started the battles just recently, but I'll have my bit done soon.

ROUND 2- IGOL ISLAND
Battle 1 Grid 1: Avarice- Laeq Grid 2: StainRedVega- Purist A turtle of an AC, StainRed's tough-as-nails armor and shield extensions gave it the necessary defense to withhold Avarice's assault. As time went on, both favored the ever so common “rotating-around-each-other” tactic as they struggled to balance offense and defense. It appeared as though nothing could slip through the cracks of Vega's nigh impenetrable armor, but that didn't stop Avarice from getting in as many combos as possible.
Impressive turning, floating, and maneuver combos were displayed by Laeq's agile AC as it managed to hold it's own against a rain of heavy bullets. This was certainly an impressive feat considering the opponent, however the lead would sometimes slip now and then.
Constantly, they favored attack each other in short boosting intervals-- often retreating away once in a while then meeting straight in front of each other. Surprise back attacks and some terrain differences gave SRV a key advantage in the endgame, though, and Avarice was finally crushed after a tiresome (but impressive) battle. Length: 2m49s Grid 2 Final AP: 932 Winner: StainRedVega Dark's Commentary: I felt the fight could've gone either way, since the opponents were just that good. Concerning Avarice, it exceeded my expectations as a fighter-- having obtained more than a few solid leads throughout parts of the fight. I thought it was mostly defensive, but now its proven me wrong. The wraiths were used about as well as Security from the LW tourney, turning/floating tactics certainly helped.
StainRedVega comes out on top, I wonder if any LW can break through the shield it has. Lol. We'll see.... well made, Purist.
Battle 2 Grid 1: Astroman- animesou Grid 2: PASS OR FAIL- bigjon Nether of these ACs wasted any time in this grand spectacle of a match. Astroman charged at the opponent with the famously lethal H3 handguns, chipping away as much damage as possible. PASS OR FAIL took its sweet time pelting away with a slow but steady energy attacks. These attacks were powerful but not quite enough to settle the difference in AP.
Having been in boost mode for a long while, Astroman went into charging just as it had in the previous battle. Powerful recovery speed worked to its advantage soon enough, and as a result the H3s were able to put the big ol' stun on PASS OR FAIL. Not having any place to run and constantly being heated up, POF soon succumbed to a deadly rapid assault. Length: 0m56s Grid 1 Final AP: 6207 Winner: Astroman Dark's Commentary: There seems to be a pattern here... once Astro gets heated up nothing can stop it.... it usually emerges near-unscathed throughout the end match, with quite a lot of AP.
Condolences to bigjon, POF was good and I would've wished to see it advance further.
Battle 3 Grid 1: Ominis- AtrumCustodis Grid 2: 27- shotdownmuse 27 picked up the pace of the battle as it fired a direct hit at Ominis, which dealt severe damage. Ominis tried to counter but found itself up agaisnt the wall, literally. Taking this as the perfect opportunity to fire, 27 landed another rocket which knocked Ominis back to its senses. It tried to counter, and successfully did so; but not before receiving the entire blunt force of a couple more rocket attacks.
At this point, 27 had the edge and switched the R launcher for a pulse rifle. This proved to be its shortcoming. After a few random bouts here and there, it ran out of energy AND solid ammo. Soon, it was left with only the roc in its right arm... and having only one weapon wasn't enough to stand up against Ominis, who was fully prepared with backup ammo. Length: 2m09s Grid 1 Final AP: 1333 Winner: Ominis Dark's Commentary: So, another ammo shortcoming. It's a bit of a shame since 27 was one of the more interesting and original LWs in the tourney. Probably one of the best, if not the best, rocket user I've seen.
Good job Ominis for advancing.
Now to wait for Atrum's part, then we're set to do the Round3 matchups.

mm...it makes enough sense for me to understand that whoever wrote it was impressed.
Anyway...PHEW, 932? Looks like armor v. speed was really not going to be a one-sided battle. Avarice sure is something...
And thanks for the comment, Dark.

I haven't actually seen many rocket users, but that's the best one I've seen in recent memory (That's what I meant).
EDIT: AHH!!! My mistake, I made an error. It says Grid 1 final AP for the Avarice/ Vega battle, when it should say grid 2.

Hey tealwolf, Are the legs of Hornet suposed to be blue with black?
I would think for a hornet it would be yellow and black.
Don't want to mess up the screenshots.

Very well then, I am beginning the battles now. All ACs are build and colored.
EDIT: Btw the mosquitoes by my house are different colors too. They are all black with white spots on their legs lol.
They look really cool too.
(The regular small blood sucking ones. Not the Giant ones with bodys about 1-2 inches long. They eat other bugs I think, and don't feed off people. They have the colors of your Mosquito lol.)

lol yea.. the larger mosquito's eat smaller mosquitos... they don't have a way of draining our blood so they consume other mosquito's in order to get their blood..

Yo, Dark, I got a question for you.
If one of my other ACs make it past tealwolfs', is there a possibility that it will have to face my very own Vega?

Greetings everyone! Welcome to the Second Lightweight Tournament! ‘. . . ow . . . my head . . .’ I am Atrum Custodis and will be your announcer for two of tonight’s battles! ‘. . last time I drink on a work night . . ‘ So join me in a battle I like to call-! Sting of the Mosquito! Or Turn on the Bug Zapper! ‘ . . . uehh . . I can’t even think of anything good . . .’ So without further delay, lets check out the first battle! *takes aspirin* Match 1: NuChallenger VS Mosquito Grid 1 NuChallenger Grid 2 Mosquito The match was fast and furious. Both ACs were in each other’s sights for the entire match. Neither of them was letting up with the attacks as bullets and energy bolts flew. But NuChallenger’s Energy weapons packed a harder punch. Both ACs are built well with speed and accuracy. But not being able to cause as much damage Mosquito could not keep up as NuChallenger brought the battle to a quick end. Winner: Grid 1: NuChallenger Combat Time: 0m27s Final AP: Grid 1: 6200+ Grid 2: 0 Well that was an exciting match! ‘ gah . all those flashing lights aren’t helping .’ Ok, I know you guys don’t care much for my insight of the battles to lets get right to the next one! ‘Yes . . . less work I got to do. . .’ Match 2: PyroYogaBlue VS Hornet Grid 1: PyroYogaBlue Grid 2: Hornet The Battle started off with Hornet being out of range as PyroYogaBlue released it’s constant energy attacks. But soon enough Hornet was able to get in range. Like the battle before them, both ACs had circled as they both had constant locks on each other. But alas, Hornet was brought down in the same manner as his brethren Insect AC. As PyroYogaBlue also had pulse guns that caused damaged quicker then the handguns that Hornet had. Winner: Grid 1: PyroYogaBlue (Sorry exact data as Combat Time and AP was lost as my PSP turned its self off for some reason.) And there you have it! ‘. and I have had it .’ The Conclusion of Round Two of the Second Lightweight Tournament! ‘. where is my icepack? . .’ Hope to see you all again soon! ‘. . not . .’

Sorry for taking so long but my comp froze and I couldn't get it back up in time.
Sorry Tealwolf, as I said my PSP turned off and I wasn't able to get a pic that had a close up of your AC in the second match even though we had a talk about makeing sure it had the right colors for the screenshots.
