Stomach aching again...
Anyway, the EASTERN BRACKET MATCHES!!
Stage: Leptas Arena Grid 1: Gawaine Grid 2: Fred
This match was a heartache for me to watch, as an AC that seemed to been able to win from the get-go loses to the underdog. Gawaine, the tough tank with a Wyrm and Lamia, picked out the constantly-zipping Fred at the beginning of the match, winning a huge AP lead. Fred, although it was much faster, had much weaker weapons and could not always get Gawaine on its lock. However, slowly be surely, Fred was able to keep itself from Gawaine’s lock for a healthy amount of time thereafter, while chipping Gawaine’s AP off by a few hundred every once in a while. The sporadic attacks stacked up, and soon both AC’s APs were about equal. Fred would sometimes pause to take a break after its impressive maneuvers and constant boosting, and subsequently became cannon fodder for Gawaine. However, Fred was able to make it out alive each time and continued to take small bites out of Gawaine’s AP. The two AC’s though seemingly mismatched, then became equals. Time was winding down, as well as their AP’s, but Fred was able to get into an aggressive circular tactic that allows it to fire at Gawaine with much more consistency within the last seconds. With that feat, victory was Fred’s.
Time: 2m36s Winner: Fred, with 783 AP left.

Stage: Vortex Mine Grid 1: Ebony Grid 2: FatalRadius8
Right off the bat, Ebony charged at Radius with all its might, kicking its Uranus EO into gear and firing both of its heavy weapons. Radius did not counter-attack, because it was unable to get a good lock at Ebony, and its huge missiles took especially long time to lock-on. Radius could do nothing but take damage. Quickly, its AP plunged. But, Ebony then decided to back off from Radius, and as it dashed away, it saw four micro missiles surrounding two huge missiles that were coming straight for it. Dashing back as far as it could in fear, Ebony was hit by a few Funi micros and saw one huge missile explode as it veered off-course into the ground. Amidst the smoke, though, one missile continued to cruise toward Ebony, and without any defense in its core, Ebony was forced to take the massive blow. The damage was devastating, but Ebony refused to give up, firing with the same accuracy and speed that continued to give it an AP advantage. But moments later, another six missiles were coming its way, the same group that it had survived from before. Again, the same scenario occurred, and Ebony took a huge blow, but coming out alive. Determined to get the victory, it continued to fire with blind fury. Then, Radius smirked. 8 missiles came charging for Ebony. 4 were from the Funi extensions, and 4 were from Radius’s huge arms. Ebony could not escape, and took a huge leap into the air, hoping that somehow the missiles will miss. It looked down. There was a massive explosion that erupted from its feet up, and devoured the rest of Ebony’s body.
Time: 16s Winner: FatalRadius8, with 4117 AP left
~~~~~
Stage: Rawdy Hangar Grid 1: DG-X Grid 2: Lemuras
The battle between the heavily-armed and armored quad and the swift overheater biped proved to be a surprising one, as one failed to complete its objective. DG-X started the battle fiercely, emptying nade after nade shell at the skinny biped. It was also firing its HP handgun like a madman, and the combination stopped Lemuras on its tracks. Lemuras, though its Cetus+inside napalm rockets were supposed to overheat DG-X, failed to do what it should’ve done, and suffered greatly for it. DG-X was cool and collected, and Lemuras was in pain. Finally, Lemuras was able to put DG-X in flames and charging status after catching it in the open. That only prevented DG-X from using its Selena, and hardly hindered its performance, as DG-X continued to slaughter Lemuras with its nades and HP handgun. The Cetus shots were not doing enough damage, and even overheating did little. Lemuras simply had no chance.
Time: 32s Winner: DG-X, with 3757 AP left
~~~~~
Stage: Fros Region Grid 1: Ivory Grid 2: Hayabusa
The match was one-sided from the start. Hayabusa initiated its deadly circular tactic when it got into close range, and although Ivory was able to fire its two arm weapons and EO core once in a while, it was not enough to deal good damage. Hayabusa’s fierce attacks overwhelmed Ivory from the start, and Ivory wasn’t able to put up much of a fight, despite the damage that its weapons dealt.
Time: 23s Winner: Hayabusa, with 3240 AP left
~~~~~
Stage: LPM Furnace Grid 1: NightTemper Grid 2: Dinerken
The stage was crucial in determining the victory in this match. NightTemper, with its powerful bz arms, had to contend with not only Dinerken’s equally strong gl arms, but with the crazy interference waves as well. When the match started, NightTemper was the only one firing, and it was able to get many good hits on Dinerken, which was trying to hide behind the furnace on the other side. However, as time passed, Temper’s lock began to go haywire and it was unable to get a good lock onto Dinerken, which finally decided to get closer. Dinerken unleashed two devastating nade shells at Temper, which severely damaged Temper. Dinerken’s E2 core also helped with its attacks, and Temper seemed to be stranded. However, Temper recovered after a while, backed off, and began to counterattack. The quicker firing rate and accuracy of Temper’s shots was able to draw the AP lead that Dinerken had gained much closer, as Dinerken’s wild dashing and jumping patterns prevented it from being able to lock onto Temper. It also made it an easy target. But then, the tide turned as Temper was stricken will ill luck again; its radar became fuzzy again. Strangely, it then boosted itself into the furnace and continued to boost in place, even though Dinerken was behind it. Dinerken took full advantage here and dispensed many E2 shots at Temper, while pounding it with nade shots. After a few seconds, Temper finally broke free from the trance it had, backed up again, and pounced on Dinerken for some sweet revenge. It fired its bz with all its might, but its AP was low in the red. Dinerken only needed to fire a few more E2’s off, and it did, which gave it the victory at last.
Time: 41s Winner: Dinerken, with 2567 AP left
~~~~~
Stage: Vortex Mine Grid 1: Conan Grid 2: FailedLaunch
Yet another match held at Vortex Mine, this battle finally favors a tank-like build. Conan, the Chimera+gl user, showed its impressive tracking and defense as it dominated the match. FailedLaunch, the more agile AC, still fell to the powerful Chimera shots that it often met with face-to-face. Its weapon combination was too weak in comparison to Conan’s much more powerful arsenal, and with this huge disadvantage, as well as the frequency in which it was hit, FailedLaunch was sent into charging mode fairly quickly. Conan was able to strike Launch down by picking it with nade and Chimera shots, and each hit took huge chunks of damage. Launch could not sustain all those hits, and soon fell, unable to put up much of a fight.
Time: 49s Winner: Conan, with 6966 AP left.

lol.......seriously.
O-G's got a good and memorable sense of humor.
I just noticed that all of his ACs advanced. Not even rain or I were able to do that.
*S-H-A-K-E-S F-I-S-T* lol. Congrats to O-G for an impressive first round sweep.

Gawaine was a good contender, but Fred was too fast and just hopped around too much.
And why would you submit Dinerken not wanting it to win...?

that's like asking why I submitted Drifter in the first blade tourney.
I never intended it to win, but I entered it just to fill my slots for ACs

My counselor just gave me an assignment to do that is due tomorrow morning...
I will try to get the battles in tonight, but there's a chance that they won't be up until tomorrow.
The boards have been pretty dead these past two days....so maybe it's okay?

Thanks, Rainmaker.
My counselor wants to give me some apps to fill and essays to write in the near future as well; he's giving me opportunities to get scholarships and get into colleges (I believe..and hope so), so I gotta use them wisely. And that's why I'm here sobbing and writing essays instead of battle descriptions. V_V

Go with your feelings, do what's important. ;D
From the lack of responds these days, everyone seems to be pretty busy lately as well. So I don't think we will mind.
